Ok, now you identify a player (Hines Ward) who witnessed what you stated and also, Ben wasn't a good teammate (presumably because of what you say players said). I don't doubt anything a player could say, but considering 86 will be the beneficiary of probably getting in the HOF because of Ben, and made a lot of money from being his teammate, I would think it highly unlikely he would state that.
Why don't you post the links to these "articles" detailing Hines purported statement. Otherwise you are, again, just making a statement with no basis, proof or legitimacy.
Suspended without committing a crime. Think about that. Hard. The DA could not press charges as he had no evidence nor a witness willing to testify (which many college students there would explain why). The commish was pressured by the media for the behavior a mid 20's professional athlete which was circumstantial. It was the beginning of the quagmire we have now because of the leagues discipline model. I blame the players union (except the Steelers players), the allowed it. The suspension had it went to court, like Marcia did, would have been thrown out due to vague and ambiguous guidelines presented at the time. I won't sit here and defend Ben in his immaturity during his early years. He's owned up to it and straightened out his life.
Instead of passing the buck to backup your statement you've made (PM those...please get real) why don't YOU contact Willie Colon, Keisel, Heath Miller and Jerome. See if they ever made a statement that BR wasn't a good teammate. I doubt you would find one in any past statement. Or do the research yourself and prove what you claim.
