Has anyone heard about his injury and will it put him out for the season? We REALLY need another WR who can stretch the field bad. Coates is sucking. Not sure if it's his broken fingers or lack of concentration. Cobe has played ok but isn't the answer.

He has a mid foot injury. They are usually 1-3 months to heal on their own, depending on severity. The fact he wasn't already IRed means it wasn't a lis franc injury.

Tells us how important a guy like DHB really is. When the machine is running on all cylinders the spare parts are a waste of extra weight. Let a colander misfire and oh how glad you are carrying that extra weight.

I miss DHB.. we need someone that can stretch the field and actually catch the ball. Coates just isn't capable right now with his fingers.

Plus he's still one of the better blocking wr's in the league, which is a huge plus for him

activate Ayers for the deep ball

Wouldn't be hard to waive Mihalik or Shabazz so Ayers must not be blowing them away in practice.

I'd give Ayers a shot over Shabazz for a couple/few weeks. Our DBs are pretty healthy and it's not like anyone is laying in the weeds to snatch up Shabazz at this point. Unless Ayers has been complete garbage I think I'd go that way for a few, can't promote him if he's been garbage though.

True

Anything that gets AB off return duties for a minute would be good as well, if AB goes down back there our offense is done...and we've all seen what happens to this D when the O is not producing. Having almost 60% of the touches going to AB and Bell anything to reduce their work load is a positive.

Getting LaDarius Green on the field is helping here. He made a couple of nice catches last week. He's only going to get more opportunities too.

spit Green as a flanker create speed and size mismatches try getting some corner strikes to Green and inside posts where he is the slot runs un and get him the ball rapid throw in between the FS @ SS.

The problem without a legit #2 is we have to use Bell as a wr to much, or we are going to start splitting Green out, instead of keeping him inside to get match ups in slower LBs

Green playing well down the stretch could really be the difference in makeing the playoffs (playoffs!!?!?! Playoffs!?!?!! WHOES TALKING PLAYOFFS!?!?!) looks like we are just going to have to out score everybody and green in the red zone is pretty hard to cover not to mention him running down the middle. Really opens it up for brown and bell.

Bring back Archer. Problem solved. Would look good in B&G, wasn't used right before, would probably sign for vet minimum.

He was only semi-capable WITH good fingers. He still dropped half of the passes his way. Now he is worthless.
