Tomlin sucks thread 11/6/16

So please, humor us. At what point in joshy's world, does he decide that the steelers need to move on and find a new staff? Is it "as long as they're not 2-14 or 1-15, we need to stay the course"..?? Please, I would love to know, what? 3-13? Do we need to not win a playoff game for a decade+ before you make a change?

I'll wait

Will you blow Mike Tomlin if they go 11-5 and reach the Super Bowl?

That is their point, they are happy that the Steelers can win greater than half their games.

They would have loved ol Marty.

With Ben's kind of talent they should yearly be in the playoffs contending.

But this team is clearly under-performing.

One person is responsible for that.

Tommy Tom

Will you want Tomlin to stay if you could see a trend that shows that the team will probably never get to let alone win another SB under Tomlin?

I wholeheartedly agree with you 100%. And What's also funny in all of this is the fact that just three weeks ago, we heard the players complaining about how "physical" practices were! What the **** do these guys think they were doing for these guys to openly complain about it???

yeah two apologist drumming up a far fetched opinion won't make it true

HE rushed back because the injury is typically longer than two weeks to return, he was inaccurate and missed a lot of throws, for a QB that is very accurate. He wasn't seeing the whole field so he was nervous or unprepared or favoring his injury. That is a sign he wasn't ready to come back, and if he was ready to come back? The coach still didn't ******* make enough ******* adjustments to ******* win for the ******* third game in a row.

But you decipher it until you can find a way not to blame Tommy Tom for having his entire team look like ****, when the team he was facing has been looking like **** all year.

******* apologists just have no quit in you.

What about this play what about this mentioned comment, what about the ******* trend Tomlin has shown more often than not.

What about he isn't fixing them, how will they get fixed?

What would you do to fix them? golly G just hope for the best?

trend continues

oh well eventually they will work themselves out tee hee

lol ridiculous

Yeah, don't ignore what went down in the fourth quarter or nothing. Ben was so ******* hurt that he ran the offense just fine for all of ten minutes of football. But, keep telling yourself he was hurt and that he was "rushed back too soon." All of his pain went away for just those ten minutes, right? Even better, he showed no signs of limping or anything. Hell, he didn't even **** with his stupid brace or pad a hundred times like he normally would have. But, he was rushed back too soon! Him not being able to read a defense and force throws for the duration of the game was clearly a sign of that!

I guess at the same time they did when we 5-11 and 6-10 before in 98 and 99.

Yep cause we loved Marty's disciple Bill Cowher

and keep telling yourself that he was fully prepared to play this game, he was a last ******* minute decision to ******* play,

what of that says he was ******* healthy? or ready to go? they were ******* uncertain which is why he was a last second ******* decision due to the ******* injury that easily could keep ******* a player out ******* longer

not a stretch to think he came back early... late in the game adrenaline, the want to win can mask some pain sure...

but Ben wasn't himself and that was a direct result of that ******* injury

lol and that fourth quarter wasn't as special as you think it was...lot of mistakes from a team that didn't look well coached.

Pretty sure he practiced all week and every report was that he looked fine mentally and physically.

"C-c-c-cowher!"

Typical

Yes the last time I checked the Rooney's don't fire coaches and if they were patient then. Why not now?? What's the difference then and now. Please don't say Ben. Especially when he and played a part in games too. I could see if was playing lights out every week putting up stats and points. This isn't a Dan Marino scenario.

Yep, he took the lions share of reps at practice with the starters this week, but the Steelers were soooo ******* uncertain of his availability, right?

The O game plan was a turd sandwich with a giant douche on the side. The D came to play, the O put their thumbs up their ***

Its been a ******* decade, man!! What, should the Rooneys wait until Tomlin has 2 decades under his belt as HC to assess his performance and decide whether to keep him or not???

I don't think it was that ******* special. But a guy who was so ******* hurt as you say, wouldve probably finished off the game the same way he started. Considering that he sucked all god damn game long. Not all of a sudden be able to move the ******* football.

What is the difference Omar? Why should Tomlin be fired and Bill wasn't

Pretty sure he practiced all week and every report was that he looked fine mentally and physically.

he practiced partially not a full participant

and all the reports usually paint a rosy picture

some apologists even buy into whatever they read

really because Ben is a typical guy not the ultimate competitor?

I think your balhugging of Tomlin knows no limitation.

He practiced Every day more then enough. And now reporters are lying

like everyone knows the Rooney's stick with their coaches longer than the norm.

That and Ben is Tommy Toms saving grace.

So where was that ultimate competitor in the first three quarters against our most bitter rival

I don't think the flaw with Tomlin's management of the QB today was in letting him play. Of course if Ben can go, he goes. My beef was in the playcalling. Coming out conservative with lots of bland inside runs, forcing him into a bunch of long 3rd downs early is NOT how you ease a QB back into game speed.
