Browns CB Haden on the trade block ?

He's a top notch CB. The Browns will be asking for someone's entire draft for him.

Not so sure, that organization is clueless.I would offer them 5th rounder. And if they said third. I would meet them halfway with 4th..........

He's been hurt, probably can't even pass a physical right now - go for all their Joes - trade them Shamarko for Haden and Jarvis for Joe Thomas.

A player that would actually look good in black and gold, but it's a pipe dream, as it's not the Steelers' style.

If he's truly available, I'd bet decent money he ends up in New England.

I think I would have to see a healthy Dupree before I would trade Jarvis. For how mediocre he is, the Steelers are extremely thin at the position.......

Another thing to remember is that Haden is making heavy coin. I'm not sure how that would work with the Steelers' cap situation.

I like the guy but Haden seems to be the Stains version of Shazier...always hurt. That's all we need.

I'm thinking of next year, so we don't bring him back and pay him a new contract - we can always find some LB's on the scrap heap to get a sack or two

I'd offer a 2018 4th & 5th. OR a current 3rd, get the deals done. PROVIDED he has no defective human parts.!!!!!!

Salute the nation

Give them a 5th and Wheaton....

While we are dreaming I say lets offer them a 7th and 8th in next years draft. If they want a little more we can throw in our 9th and 10th round picks. I would hold onto our 11th and 12th rounders though. I think the Browns just might take this deal.

In theory, it's a nice idea, but his cap numbers starting next year are $13.4M, $14.4M, $14.4M and $10.9M Too rich for our blood. He'd have to be willing to take less pay and restructure before we take him. Would he be willing to take a new contract at about $8M to go to a winner and possibly win a SB?

That would put the Browns on the hook for his $10M in prorated money, and the draft pick value or player trade value would have to be worth that $10M number to them.

so then we'd have the Browns' best CBs from the previous few seasons and relying solely on the totally ineffective and lack-of coaching from our coaching to NOT be the Browns.

He's not a top notch corner. He hasn't played much in 2.5 years and has been mostly injured. If he passes a physical, maybe offer a 5th for him but no more.

He played 15 games in 2013 and 2014, but only 5 last year. He played in 4 this year and has 2 ints. Not sure if he is injured right now or not. Still think it is worth a shot I'd the price isn't too high.

As for trading wheaton he is expendable. We have brown, coates, heyward bey, rodgers , hamilton, and hopefully bryant. Not to mention green and jesse james. Plus wheaton has not lived up to the hype.

To be fair, I believe Wheaton was a 3rd Rounder so I wouldn't say he was exactly surrounded by hype at any point.

Hating Wheaton has nothing to do with anything. I actually like Wheaton. You don't have to hate someone to want to trade them. He is someone who is probably a little bit expendable because of the wide receiver situation, but yet it's a pretty darn good player who could contribute to another team. That way another team might actually want to trade. Some people have suggested trading uncle Jarvis, but he's actually having a pretty good year in my opinion, why deplete and already depleted linebacker corps? Why would any team want to trade for some marginal player?

sending anyone to Cleveland is hateful

I thought we were told Feeney would instantly be a good OLB for us?
