As I said, the Steelers have never really been screwed by it, other than maybe playoff seeding, but if they ever miss the playoffs as an 11-5 team and some 7-9 division champ makes it, I think you'll see my point.

The NFL has the best playoff system in professional sports and winning a division should be enough for a team to make the playoffs. I can't worry about a rare 7-9 winner keeping a better team out of the playoffs. Just not a fan of your system, which would essentially do away with division rivals. I like the home-away format.

Both times the Giants beat them in the Super Bowl they changed their hand signals just for that game.

Or all afc teams play each other and all nfc teams play each other once. Best records go to the playoffs. For the history of cheating all the cheatriot games are away games.
