Vs usc.

Rushing - 30 car, 165 yds, 1 td

receiving - 4 rec, 73 yds, 1 td

I would say Louisville's QB has a huge lead on everyone at the moment.

A lot of season to be played but yes the Louisville QB is drawing comparisons to Vick in his college days.

Although I think Vick was faster...

He's the other choice but he ran for less yards and was just mediocre as a passer.

I'd say L. Jack has the edge. Over 1000 yards offense and 18 TDs? Crazy.

Unless this week was the Heisman Trophy game, I would probably compare body of work for the season. No idea what McCaffrey has done overall, but if he has 20 TD's, he should be in the conversation.

Last year he rushed for 2,019 yards and as a receiver has 645 yards. Such a duel threat is rare. He's also a good return man.

Heisman is biased in favor of QBs, I'm thinking he doesn't win it.

Will he last until pick 32? We might need one of those dual threats...

I doubt he lasts that long, but I'm willing to bet he drops. White skill positions players (other than QBs) always go later than they should or would if they were black. For example, I'd compare McCaffery to Reggie Bush who went #5 overall (I think). I bet McCaffery goes mid to late 1st round.

Cope,

He's a triple threat.

2015 Stats:

Rushing: 2019 yards 6.0 per carry.
Pass catching 645 yards, 14.3 per catch. Excellent for a Running back
Kickoff Returns. 28.9 per return 1 touchdown. Punt Returns. 8.7 per retrun, 1 TD.

When you look at a year like this, you think Marshall Faulk. I doubt he'll be that good, but I think he'll be good and fit the modern NFL.

Did I mention he has NFL bloodlines? With Bell's status unknown, and Williams being 34 next year, I'd endorse this pick for round one with the caveat that he runs at least a 4.55 40.

Christian McCaffery = Chickollo for Coach.

That being said I love the kid..and if we part ways with Bell he is no 1 on my board as a replacement.

There's a cat named Jabrill Peppers who is going to linger on this Heisman list all year. Not sure he will win over the offense only players, but he's electrifying.

HA, not even close. I'd trade Chick and Jones right now for McCaffery.

It is not going to matter...after Stanford drops a game or two the rest of the way and UH knocks off Louisville in a few weeks behind Greg Ward Jr's 300 yards passing and 75 yards rushing...the trophy will be Ward's to lose....

I think I'm on board now with McCaffery, we STILL need a KR and we've been drafting them for years!

I meant it more as you will show a rabid fascination with him like you do with Chickillo and dismiss any and everything else in to justify him winning the Heisman. Like dismissing the out of world start the QB from Louisville is having.

McCaffrey is 6'0", 200
too light to carry the load in our run game.

by comparison, Bell is 6'1", 225

one guy to look for - if we choose to replace Bell - is Jalen Hurd. 6'4" 240, and doesn't shy away from contact. Resembles Eddie George in running style and ability.

HUH? Bell has had two knee injuries and two suspensions that had to do with drugs. Williams will be 34 next year. I have zero faith in the 3rd string people. We need to draft a back next year.

The Louisville QB is exciting, but at 205 pounds listed, he won't last long in the NFL unless he changes some things. Mick Vick's endorsement does not help.

What in the hell does anything you wrote have to do anything I said??? I'm talking about the Heisman race

I still can't believe McCaffrey didn't win last year.

He will run sub 4.5. Probably closer to low 4.4

What if he slips and isn't a lead back but instead a slot receiver
