So apparently he got fined for that dance being too suggestive.
 
Is that their excuse? Cause Im wondering why Cruz can salsa without penalty.
 
AB was having a lot of fun out there. I doubt he thought he'd get flagged for that dance, didn't involve teammates, etc. NFL = No Fun League.

At least this ref had a sense of humor:

I didnt find it sexually suggestive but I can see that it is subjective

I wish he would stop dancing.
 
Not me. I wish the NFL would lay off the celebrations. Its a game. Who doesnt want to celebrate after making a big play. Its entertainment.

It is entertainment. I'm not a fan of the dancing. But it gives fans something extra. I thought it was funny. AB owes me a beer lol. But I'm old school. I'm a fan of the humble athlete. Barry Sanders, Troy Polamalu type. The only problem I have with excessive celebrations is it'll get under an opposing players skin. I dont want to see AB take a lethal cheap shot just because

I liked the running backwards part and that should NOT be penalized. When you get beat that bad and you are supposed to be a professional football player, you should be taunted....

I don't mind a little celebration, but these guys seem to keep trying to one up each other. When I get a calculation right, you can bet Coolie's sweet *** I am spiking the stapler, but I am not going to run around to all of the cubicles high-fiving everyone and getting a choreographed dance going.

The main thing I hate about penalizing it (and taunting) is the subjectiveness of it all.

I'd be interested to hear the ref's (and the league's) reasoning on the flag as well as the $12k fine they doled out. At what point did they deem AB's hip thrusting to be sexual in nature? It seems like it was after the 2nd or 3rd thrust the ref reached for the flag. Hence the Key & Peele reference, that skit literally played out on the field yesterday. Hilarious.

Fortunately since they moved the kickoffs up, post-TD penalties don't really mean anything.

I like the old school hand the ball to the ref and go back to the huddle or the sideline. The dancing is stupid, adds nothing to the game. I rank it right up there with phil sims commentary, and it is hard to get lower than that.
