Steelers/Panthers game thread

at least they weren't shut out.....and Ayers touched the ball twice on one drive....amazing
 
Still both make it until bell comes back. Those three games will be their final battle to stay the rest of the season

ayers had almost no chance to make this team once Eli Rogers emerged as a slot WR. Ayers has to be a slot WR with his size and it's a hard position to learn. If Rogers keeps it up, i think they let Wheaton walk and next year Ayers will have a good shot to make the team as a special teamer and backup WR.

I said when he was drafted he would have to kill it as a punt returner and he just had not had much of a chance to show anything there

Think it may have something to do with the fact that of the guys playing tonight, 20 of them will be cut by Saturday night? I'm not too concerned with how the fourth preseason game turned out.
 
Tennessee is doing its best Michigan impression.
 
Players may be getting cut but that works for both teams tonight and you have to admit Carolina players way outplayed ours. Very few players stood out.
