Spiller tossed Cockrell like a rag doll - edited since POP can't spell ****

Tackling is done less and less every year in practice. Might have something to do with it. And it isn't just our players.....it is rampant around the league.

So you're so very proud of being in expert is spelling ****? Why am I not surprised?

no need to thank me. I figured you just started salivating as soon as you saw the beginning of "Cockrell" and naturally jammed your mouse into your mouth so you'd have something to suck on.

Unfortunately, you removed the mouse and didnt choke to death. Though it would be silly of anyone to expectyou to choke to death considering the sheer amount of **** that goes down your throat.

And college......and high school. The level of hitting that was done in practices all over the place 15 and 20 years ago would make today's high school kids quit the team. The games were a ****** breeze after 2 a day practices. The heat, the amount of time, and the fact that about 4 hours out of the 6 hour practice were full contact. They don't even hit in high school practices any more. They go about 3/4 speed and wrap up. That's it.

Yep... You are 100% correct.

I notice POP quoted everyone and replied to everyone besides me. .. So lemme say it again . Deion Sanders may have been the worst tackling DB in the history of the NFL.

I didn't respond because I agreed wholeheartedly. Now if we had a "like" button, I would have hit that ****.

Deion not only was a poor tackler, he usually didn't even TRY to tackle. But, dear God, he certainly had immense cover skills. In other words, I'd gladly take him on my team, even with his total lack of desire to tackle.

Yes, knock away using one hand, AB does it all the time. But this was a rag doll, beat down, with one arm. Cockrell was thrown to the ground like he was a child.

You may have something there.

Looked up Spiller and he is small at 200. **** is 191.

Must have been obscene to watch a small ball carrier beat off **** with one hand the way he did.

Wished there was a video I could watch.
Or some pictures.

Deion couldn't tackle for ****.....

Did you see when Spiller threw attempted tackler, Cockrell, on the ground using just one arm?

I am sorry, but no legit NFL-caliber CB gets thrown to the ground by a RB using just one arm.

What about getting thrown to the ground by a 180lb WR?

That's messed up, There should be more Steeler kitchen accessories.

Like a Steeler knife set. Use any of the knife set of the 2016 season to cut through the toughest of meats

So Hall of Famers don't have to tackle??? Pop, what is the reasoning behind this??? Maybe you or Coach can provide some insight in thread 23,495???

Ummmm, maybe if you're insanely talented in coverage, you let other people tackle?

Several people had trouble with Spiller that night. But if this is about projections Ben will throw for 6000 yards and 50 some tds. I think some of you play too much Madden. A guy like that is going to have good plays and bad plays. Good days and bad. He isn't Troy Polamalu. But to my eyes he is a hell of a lot better than Blake.

Well, that still leaves an awful lot of room to suck, but, I am wishing for the best.
