Pick up Keenan Lewis after the Saints part ways and he heals up?

Tore it up, apparently, means had one good season. 2 INTs in one season for what is supposed to be your primary DB?

All those PDs with us and he had 1, int. That is why he was allowed to leave. Well, and he wanted to be somewhere else. The FO didn't want another DB that couldn't catch.

Look at his four years stats as compared to Allen. I believe very close with Allen having more ints.

He chose New Orleans in free agency partly because the Steelers re-signed a Willie Colon to a 6 million dollar a year contract and we lacked the cap space. Bad move.

Actually, he had 4 interceptions ( Good for any corner ) one year in New Orleans. The injury is why he's leaving.

Lewis > Allen

Last year we had Blake starting. How bad was he? Well Ark read below:

So apparently a one-legged CB may be better than what we have now, that they would consider talking to him.

Can you read? I said Lewis had one good year. One. That does NOT equal "tore it up".

6 ints for the #1 DB in 3 years. Timmons has 3...
 
yeah, but all Timmons does is make tackles.

If he checks out medically....hes an instant upgrade.

Back in the day, MY one-armed **** flinging monkeys versus the "Bruce". My monkeys won over 80% of the time. Be careful as one extremity players aren't that bad........

If the steelers sign him, we should just assume he checked out medically and will be fine to play. It's not like the steelers would sign a free agent or make a trade for a guy who was injured. I mean it's not like he'd have a major medical concern that he forgot to tell us about or that his legs were not the same length.

Oh please.. I bet you cant Name 2 dozen times that happened to this team... In the last five years...with players whose last name starts with a x.... Lol
 
So what's the deal on Lewis?.

Burns is not ready to play on the outside. If Lewis checks out, Gay can play the slot when needed.

Our DB's are really hurting.

Word is that he won't be healthy for a number of week.
 
Rumor is he may need 6 weeks before he is ready
 
Another CB who is hurt all the time. Situation normal.
 
I'd bring him back, assuming he is healthy enough.

The Steelers need corners, and Lewis was a really good one for them not too long ago.
 
Can't hurt to bring him in and at least examine what's wrong with his health. If he passes physical, make an offer........

Steelers didn't like what they saw...he also has a sports hernia, per Gerry Dulac. I'm guessing we check in with him later, but attempt to bring in another experienced corner soon.
