Schultz has made up his mind and has re-signed with the Pens. 1 year 1.4mil.

Glad they were able to keep him. I think the change of environment is going to help him get back to being the player everyone expected he would be coming up.

I was a little concerned when it looked like the Pens were going to have a couple of guys leave the defense. Shultz plays well in flashes and it's good to have him back for another year.

Shultz is a puck mover, and a defense men who plays better dumping the puck in the offensive zone. A lot of the Pens D men are not stay at home D men, which I don't mind under Sullivans system. I like the signing him back. Now Cullen needs to make up his mind

Good deal! I like him on the PP better than Letang - on to Cullen

and he didn't want his *** sent back to Saskatchewan

“I love it here. I love the city. I love the team. I love the rink. I love everything,” Schultz said. “I’m playing less minutes, but I think I’m playing well with those minutes. I’m a plus player right now. I’m helping the team I think.”

No one else wanted to take a chance on him. He is a bargain.
