I noticed most of the practices start at 2:55PM. 3:00PM is the time when the day is usually at its hottest. 10:30AM would be a bit cooler.

When I flew from FL to PA, the temps and humidity were the same in both places.

2-3 is absolutely the hottest time of day.

Although, with the new CBA, these guys don't have to work as hard, other than the sprint drills.

2-3PM is usually the hottest time of the day, which is why starting practice at 10:00AM is easier on the players.
 
They practice at 2:55 because its 2 a days. The morning practices arent open to the public so they aren't listed..

****. This is pretty much putting the nail in the coffin. The steelers are going to be too worn out come January and we're gonna lose in the wild card round.
