It saddens me that some Steeler fans are as insecure about the Pats as Browns fans are about the Steelers. I was hoping we'd be better than that. Every single thread turns into some kind of bizarre complex about the Pats; it's not healthy.

I would bring him in...I know that there is a 99.99%chance we won't, but one can hope....right ? Bottom line is we need to get MORE pressure on the QB. Hopefully Tombert reads this thread and takes our advice.

not really bizarre after your patriot defending and your nut-hugging of them in threads, many think you are a closet pats fan

if you weren't around the pats would be mentioned a whole helluva lot less.

.....as far as whats healthy or not, expressing thoughts in general can be very therapeutic and or fun.

And to close what you view as insecure is what others view as stating facts.


Facts are Pats cheated over and over and over again. And was punished for it multiple times.

Most fans look down on cheating, except a few pats fans that are in constant denial.

That is really whats saddening.........

Plus, it will be far too confusing with a "Freeney" and a "Feeney."

Suggestion: Take a "Reading Is Fundamental" class...

Freeney signed a 970k contract with 1 million in incentives last year and had 8 sacks in 11 games and 255 snaps. That's a sack every 32 snaps. Debo had 1 sack every 122 snaps in comparison. I am not saying give this guy a huge long contract but if he can come in and on passing downs get to the QB I say what do we have to lose? I would cut JJ in a heartbeat if Freeney and Chickillo (who looks way better in run stopping and holding the edge) can split time and come in on different packages.
