What do you guys think about drafting him in the mid rounds. He is very athletic, hard worker, and seems to have talent. He can play full back, H-Back, and TE. I know it is not a pressing need, but think it would be worth a shot.
 
Highly doubt we take him......... 1st thing to do is to figure out if he actually has true talent and not rosied over glasses talent. If he is living off brothers fame, then **** no.

Good article n'at, but can he play?

I'll be the first to say, I'd LOVE to see a fullback on the field again. Imagine what Bell could do with a lead blocker to take out just that ONE guy...
 
While we do need a FB - I'm not sure having one w/ the name of "Gronkowski" on our roster will sit very well here---UNLESS, he's uber talented and he can get his brother's playbook before our game...

I also think Rosie Nix has the FB position nailed down so no need to bother. Now if he doesn't get drafted then I'd understand and think it be a good move to maybe sign him as a undrafted F/A. Bring him in and let him compete then with Rosie but no, don't waste a draft pick especially since we gave up our 5'th and 6'th.

Isn't that what our two fullbacks already do? Johnson and that other dude, who used to be a LB?

as other pointed out, Nix has become a very good contributor as a FB and he is expected to keep improving
 
Baby Gronk and Dan Vitale would be nice replacements for Will Johnson but I am not willing to spend more than one of our 7th round picks on either.
 
I'd rather have LaQuan McGowan. 6'7" 410# tight end from Baylor....

Nah. We can't stoop to the cheats level. If we do. We better put a curb stomping and village raid on those ********
