Couple interesting things about this schedule.
Obviously no west coast games. The farthest west we play is Indy, So all of our games are in the eastern time zone.
I knew for sure that the league would schedule the Bengals in the first 3 weeks. They did, and it's our home opener. I expect the Steelers to really take it to Cinci this year for that game.
The NFC East is terrible. It's all in flux and it was won by default last year. All teams had losing records going into Dec when they had to play each other to finish out the month. Dallas, if healthy should be the best (based on talent), Philly is in a new system, Wash is in the second year for Cousins, but we seem to own them in DC, and their fans know it.
I'm surprised we only have 3 primetime games. Dallas seems to get 5-6 each year.
We also got lucky and face all the best teams of the divisions we play, at home. NYG, DAL, Jets, NE plus KC is a stronger team than Indi, and we get KC at home as well. This is a home field advantage schedule if I've ever seen one before.
We have a bye week before we face Balt and our bye is mid season, both are quite favorable for us.
I see the Bengals game on Dec 18 being the decider for the division this year. Hopefully we can rest starters for the final 2 weeks as a 1 seed!
