Manziel told TMZ last week that he had been out in West Hollywood five to six nights in a row and said he doesn't think NFL teams have a problem with his partying.

I'm NOT saying Johnny had a "promising" NFL career to look forward to but, he had things happening that could have led to a promising NFL career. We may never know at this point. I hope he gets his act together as a human being, the football player "player" can disappear for his sake.

Johnny doesnt need football. His family is rich enough as is. Shame he's wasting away his talent, but it's his life. If he wants to drink and do drugs, do so behind closed doors. He's a grown man his decision

Tebow was just horribly inaccurate....like "mind boggling" inaccurate.

The only D he could throw on, with any success, was that nightmare D LeBeau and Cool Shades put out there vs. Denver and KEPT playing even through OT - which TeBow needed all of one play from scrimmage to end the game.

JM has much more talent than that. Does that mean he'd be a lock to "make it" if he had his **** together? No. But he COULD have become a legit starter, or, at least, a back up in the league.

Partying aside, I think there is a 50-50 chance his style will wreck his body and he may not make it for that reason, but we will likely never know.

Yea, you knew there was more to the story than JM just chillin' out and "partying" to say the least. And Drew knew it. If JM isn't under contract with anyone, Drew doesn't make a dime. And Drew doesn't spend any time on things that don't pay off.

Drew has the pulse of everything in the NFL, and obviously is privy to what coaches, owners and GMs feel about JM. He knows, at this point, he is merely a waste of time, because no contract is forthcoming.

Tebow won more than a single playoff game that season. Enough to merit a shot with another team. Tebow could have won the Superbowl for them last season.

I said it when he came out of A&M... I said 5 years and that's this year (I think). I really don't wish anything bad on the kid, its just a prediction...

Earn another shot? He got one....no, he got TWO more shots, and no one could find a way to give him a spot on the roster. Both Jets and Pats tried, but he is just too wildly inaccurate.

Then Rex didn't want to lose his starting QB to controversy so he started the 3rd QB over Tebow that year. All Tebow did when he was a starter, was win. I don't care how you think he looked. His teammates loved him, rallied around him, and won for him. I watched 8 Denver games that year, and he was fun to watch. The Steelers game wasn't a surprise to me, because he did that ALL FREAKING YEAR!

There is a good reason no team wants him. If he could win, no one would care if he worshiped dog turds. And he didn't throw for 300+ yards on teams all year, as you claimed. Just the Steelers, who had zero coverage over the top the entire day long.
 
Lets hope this guy does not end up dead. someone needs to get there arms around him and help him

I thought GRB was using the new Oboma math system.............. Thanks for clearing that up for me. On another note, part of what held Tim T. Back was the religion, like hearing that or not, but it was a factor. TEAMS didn't want the attention that was bringing.

I know why they were zero on the play that lost it. It was a mistake by Clark and he admitted it. Don't you think a good QB can take advantage of a defensive error? Tebow did, and he did it all year. Watch more than one tebow game that season and you'll have an inkling of what I'm talking about.
 
Why give a self absorbed piece of number 2 one inch of respect as a QB in the NFL. A worthless individual that has been living with a silver spoon up his back side. He has no respect for himself, the game or any team that had interest in him. As a fan of football I'm sick and tired or reading more about this type individual than the game on Sunday. He deserve not one bit od feel sorry for. Just another unproven overpaid bad apple that puts a black mark on football.
 
agree, Apex. The NFL has turned into a ****** up league. Because the only attention is on thugs, wanna be thugs, and morons.
