Toussaint: its still hard to this day

From the title of the thread, I thought it was going to be a story about him taking too much Viagara...

It was a terrible mistake. Football is all these guys do; there is no excuse for a back carrying a ball like that in such a crucial moment of such a big game. DO YOUR JOB. It would be different if he did everything right and just had a bad break. This isn't the case; he carried the ball sloppily and with poor technique. He should have had his **** together better, being it is his PROFESSION.

Yeah it was a bad mistake. But mistakes happen. If this guy sits on this mistake the way he sounds its going to haunt him from bettering his career. Instead of feeling bad--use that mistake to fuel you're fire for next season

To be honest I still think about it. We could have beaten the pats the following week if Williams was back. It would have been a good story. But the guy was a fourth string running back playing hard. Cant blame him

"Next man up" is a nice slogan from Coach Cool Shades but realistically your first-stringers are first-stringers for a reason and your fourth-stringers are fourth-stringers for a reason.
Although I don't think we would have beaten the Pats**** the next week under any circumstances. The stats for the Cheating Bastiges From New England W-L record at home AND their scoring when they play a team for the second time in the same season are so stupid good that they defy statistical norms.

Stupid. Hall of famers have fumbled.

So you NEVER make any mistakes at work?

Sure. Do I make colossal, avoidable mistakes at the most crucial times? No.

I do.......Even if he was carrying the ball correctly you would still probably *****.

Well, we don't have to imagine what I would do if he used proper technique, because the FACT is, he didn't. He carried the ball like a loaf of bread. We were taught in Pee Wee football not to do that.
Look at Mendy in the SB. Two guys hit him at the exact same time a second after he gets the hand off. If Johnson(Mendy's lead blocker) just blocks one of the defenders Mendy probably doesn't fumble, but Johnson doesn't block either. He runs right between them and Mendy gets blamed for the fumble. Everyone makes mistake sooner or later. It is just unfortunately the kid made it at a very important spot of the game.

#64 missed his block.

Why do you suppose that is?

This year he has a shot at a superbowl ring...well as long as we stay healthy and nobody else ******* wants to get ******* high over making millions and winnings championships.

***** about the other players now that didn't do their jobs the rest of the game at least now. All our defense had to do was make a stop. Our Offense could of matched their TD with our own after Denver scored. Didn't happen. Go ahead though and lay the "colossal" mistake on our 5th string RB.

That can happen anytime even to the best. When Bettis fumbled against Indy he was like the #1 or #2 LEAST likely running back to fumble. Someone gets a lucky hit in the right place, **** can happen.

I was just thinking about this. The look on Jerome's face was enough to banish any ire I had about the play.
