I agree rules are rules but I happen to believe that the rules are bs. That makes it even worse.
 
Just read it on nfl.com myself. What an absolute dip ****. Guess it's time to plan without him. Trade him or write him off. Goodbye Bryant, the steelers won't play games.
 
Put the work into Sammie Coats. (Sp) He will do fine at number 3 or 4 plus the signing of green was a huge blessing now

What a dickwad. Someone tell me........is this for him being tested during the season? Or do they test you during the offseason as well? Is it all random,or scheduled? I am gathering because he is on their radar that his tests are different than others who have not gotten caught YET. As I am sure 50% of under 30 years old smoke it once in a while.

For whatever it's worth, I'm reading Bryant's agent is appealing it already with the league. This came down earlier this week, and they're going to fight it.

Not that I am a huge believer in the weed. But,they would not have to pay him,not count against our cap,roster spot? How does this work? Sign him for as cheap as you can the following year,if of course he does all the right things. If it was anything else but weed,I would say get rid of him. It's not like I don't know my kids haven't done it or I didn't do it when I was a hell of a lot younger. I am not saying I condone it,just maybe try one more time then dump him. Some people especially young males need a kick in the *** to grow up.
 
Good thing we picked up Green....but damn, this puts a damper on a successful FA period.

Unless he is some type of Cap hit there is absolutely no reason to cut him. He isn't a distraction player. I don't know why he can't get over his weed habit, it must be a bad one. But I'd stash him and see what Coates is before I did anything with him. If there is no room for him cause Coates has done well, then **** him and trade him. You can't get anything now for him anyways. No point in over reacting. While I whole heatedly agree with the fact that he blew it, this league needs to look at its priorities. He will serve about the same as AP who beat his own young child with a stick..

Sure it hurts the team,no doubt. But it is not like he can not be replaced. There is still an abundance of talent and speed on that offence. More concerning is his choices he has made in his life that have lead to this current crisis in his future. Young man needs to do a completed 180, or he is heading to be another statistic. Sad waste of a God give talent.

Another example of million dollar talent with 10 cent brain and willpower. There were obvious reasons why this guy slipped in the draft and here is a glaring one. This will be a problem throughout this guy's NFL career if he still has one. How can a team plan with him not knowing when the next failed test will be coming. Cut ties now and move on from him. As I said, great talent but just plain has no will power and refuses to let better judgement prevail. dumb ***!
