But according to my ESPN app (can't post link) Colin Kaepernick wants to play for Cleveland. What a moron. I hope they take him, his contract, and pass on Wentz. Get er done Cleveland.

Colin Kaepernick wants to play in Cleveland for new Browns coach Hue Jackson, multiple sources told ESPN.

The Browns have lost five players through free agency, and some players over the past couple of weeks have said privately that they view playing in Cleveland like going to college: up to four years and they're out.

But Kaepernick is embracing the idea of playing for the Browns, according to Schefter. The Browns and 49ers have had trade conversations.

To date, the Browns have expressed more interest than the Broncos, who have been slow-playing their interest in Kaepernick so far.

Jackson was the Oakland Raiders' head coach in 2011 when the 49ers drafted Kaepernick. Jackson has said that he and late Raiders owner Al Davis wanted to trade up in the second round to take Kaepernick that year.

"I think about it all the time, believe me," Jackson told Sports Illustrated in 2013. "No question in my mind we wanted it to happen, and no question I thought it could happen. We wanted the kid in the worst way."

One team should collect Kaepernick, RGIII, and Johnny Football. Running QB that will get hurt and you just use the next one. Like Kleenex.

In a related story the NFL wants to "random" drug test Kap

Expectations are low in Cleveland.........theres not much anticipated over-hype especially at QB....whens the last decent QB to play in Cleveland ? Jeff Garcia ?

Jackson is a smart dude...great OC. This would be a major reclamation project though.

Most everyone forgets, but Derek Anderson - who is actually decent if he keeps his weight down - had a pretty good season not that long ago. I believe Anderson is now Newton's backup in Car.

If there are 2 current coaches that are very good with QB's, Jackson is one as well as Ariens. I can't blame Kap for wanting to be under Jackson, despite that he is with the stains. At least Kap is familiar and should become more comfortable at lying on his back and staring up at black and yellow uniforms.

Colin Kaepernick is already in "career" hell. Why not go where no others will follow??? He has a chance to be credited with the qB who turned that fanchise around............. go Colin......
