DHB re-signed

I wouldn't trade Wheaton. Just plan on taking a WR in the 3rd or 4th next season or gambling on one late this year.

Honestly, I think Coates has an excellent shot at overtaking Wheaton. I would try to see if anybody's willing to give up anything of value for Wheaton. I'd be content with Brown/Bryant/Coates/DHB/Rookie (Braxton Miller?)

Did I miss something? He seemed to drop as many balls as he caught. It's not like WR unit was among our thinnest groups. I'd much rather see them sign a OL then sign a 4th-rate WR who can't catch when we have AB, Bryant, Wheaton and Coates already in the fold

Obviously, you were too busy drooling over Brady and the Pats to focus on Steeler games. DHB has played well for us.

Good luck doing that for 1,3M/y

Yes I'd rather have these guys pushing each other for saying time. Wheaton can set his own value by playing well next year.. we are too close to the super bowl to risk our season on experience

I watched him at camp and his effort really stood out. Seemed a great guy and a teammate the other guys really liked. Good for him and good for the steelers.

Eli Rodgers is going to take the #5 WR spot and hopefully the punt returning job.

Agree with this. The only drops I remember him having were on difficult catches. He wasn't dropping balls that hit him in the hands. This is a good signing. He's a vet with a good attitude, and one who can make an occasional big play because of his speed. He played quite well while Bryant was out. If DHB is your 4th receiver, you're in very good shape.

DHB is the type of player you like to have on the bottom of the depth chart. As long as his role isn't elevated, he is a solid contributor in spot duty on offense and on special teams. It's a minor deal, but a good one for the team.

21 catches last year..............so, at this rate he's making $62,000 per catch.

tell me which 4th WR makes 300 yards in a pinch?
tell me which WR can block like him to help the stars on the team?
Aren't you considering his value on ST either?

Antonio Brown caught 136 passes, he made 8.3 millions avg. so that's $61,000 per catch. What's your point??? Aren't those catches worth the money? If Brown's are worth it so are DHB's

stop trying to **** over a good Steelers FO move, you are out of your element.
