Top 5 Quarterbacks All Time

The reason Elway "was on a good team for nearly his whole career" was because he was so damn good, not his teammates. .

I agree with Al. In addition, Elway didn't like Dan Reeves. Elway felt Reeves held him back, and they ( The Broncos ) would have done even better if Elway passed a bit more often.

I hated Joe Montana when he played, but to me he was the best qb I have ever seen. In the super bowl against the Bengals, when Montana got the ball at the end of the game, you just knew they were going to score.
He and Brady both were(are) incredibly accurate, but Montana did it when the defense could still play as well.

Brady needed his kicker to win two super bowls.

It was Brady who put them into position to kick them...
Wow, color me impressed... the guy gets the ball on the 40 yard line and gets his kicker a 41 yard attempt... or a 48 yarder....

4 super bowl wins, by 3,3,3 and 4 points and cheating the whole time... he isn't a great QB, he is a cheating POS who has an unfair advantage that has grown throughout the years. If the Pats had drafted Chad Pennington instead of him, we would be talking about Chad as this great QB now. Same basic guy, one just knows the plays and one didnt

Can't stand Brady but outside of the cheating you can't keep him out. He will often play with one good skill guy on offense and still win.

So you will accept a cheater into the top 5 QBs.......... **** that. As I have said before, which part of good is the Honest Abe part or the CHEATING ******* part of t*mmy b*y????

Salute the nation

Montana
Elway
Bradshaw
Staubach
Manning

Joe Montana was cool as they come. HIs drive against the Bengals .... you knew he was gonna score. Elway, with some "D" and Reeves gone, showed what he could do. Bradshaw, not the purest of passers, but called his own plays and was a tough SOB. Staubach just seemed to me like he was a really smart QB ... not a stud with a cannon, but smart. Manning -- been to 4 SBs, won 2, super successful in the regular season. Brady cheats. Favre was a gunslinger - it worked sometimes, others not. Later in his career, more so, not. Fouts did not have enough team around him, made some bad decisions at the worst times. Marino - thought he choked at times, even back during his time at Pitt.
