Talking about the trashy team we just beat should have been done on Sunday. Why isn't anyone talking about the catch by Bryant. Media isn't and I know if this happened in a Super Bowl it would be considered the best catch of all time, even better than David Tyree's catch. Who makes a catch like that? And to flip at the end which I think helped him keep control at the beginning of the catch but to keep control after he landed was crazy good....

Sadly I think part of it is because he made the catch more difficult for himself by not just controlling t with his hands in the first place

People see it as a borderline catch. Plus he isnt a name brand reciever... Also the end of the game sicked the life out of the football aspect... If it was a clean end that catch is the lead highlight and controversy

The last quarter of the game has been referred to as a "prison riot". The rest is all secondary, other than who ultimately advances.

That's probably true. He made a good recovery, but it was no more difficult (and probably less) than Santonio's catch in the SB.

This is true too. Think about how little has been said about the actual game. I rewatched the first half again last night. To me, it seems like the game was secondary to the Bengals the whole night. There was a LOT of extracurricular activity going on - more than what's been talked about in the media. I think they saw this as the "exorcism" that Marvin Lewis referred to, but ultimately, for them it was more about not being pushed around by big brother anymore than it was winning the game. We were totally in their heads.

Funny, I was thinking about David Tyree too.

"Catch of the Year" hands down!!! Concentration and focused throughout the play. Ben called him out and he responded!!! Good job Bryant, hope we see more this weekend. Go Steelers!

As has already been mentioned, it was an amazing job of second-catching the ball, but he should have cleanly caught that initially,

The ball hit him right in the hands.

Bryant pretty much made up for a semi-drop in an epic manner.

I saw a few media types mention it. But yeah, not as much as all the blather about the end of the game. Frankly, I hope he has a better performance this Sunday.

I agree totally. I think Ben coming out of the Xray room to do what he could under the circumstances also got overshadowed by the dirty last quarter. Though if it was Brady or Manning they would still have every throw set to symphony music and would find some relative of John Facenda to make it that much better.

Yep, this "second catch" and Ben's epic comeback should be the story of that game. That is easily what I am going to remember about it 10 years from now.

Chearting / entitlement / loss of draft picks = media air time

sensible / hard working / nose to grindstone / no media / = STEELERS

Salute the nation
