Don't blame Paul at all. ALL should be included on a single stage. would be.different if the pre-debate was for vice president.
 
At this point I think all but the top five should bow out and save face a little. No pun intended, Carly. That means Carly, Huckabee, Santorum, Paul, Kasich and Jeb should all just go away.

I have to agree Indy. If they are polling single digits after the first primaries, what's the goal ? Are they bound to some code that they have to spend all the money they collected before they can throw in the towel ?

The Jeb Bush presidential campaign reported Thursday it has spent forty million dollars on TV ads targeting voters in Iowa and New Hampshire. However, CNN just revealed he's polling at three percent. It's gotten so bad that Jeb Bush is now running attack ads against the margin of error.

Donald Trump increased his lead in New Hampshire and Ted Cruz led in Iowa on Wednesday, turning conventional wisdom upside down. The GOP establishment is being completely routed. In the CNN presidential poll released Wednesday, Jeb Bush is just above three percent, tied with Coors.

Me either. Any debate that includes Jeb should include all of them.

A poll of a few hundred/thousand people should dictate who we hear from?
Opinion surveys are garbage.
They should only start widdling down the field AFTER primary elections/caucuses.

Ran Paul has been reported to have more Social Media followers than ANY candidate of any party. That shows me, if true, he is not out of the race by any means. And even if he was, why should he just go away? If he goes away, his message goes away, and the American people do not get to hear what they need to hear. Just because you do not agree with his message does not mean he should not have the chance to get it out there.

I would love to see Rand Paul leave the Republican Party and run as a Libertarian. If he were to another party, it would take too much time to get it rolling.

Too late. Gary Johnson is running on the Libertarian ticket.
Now let's just hope he wins his lawsuit against the Commission on Presidential Debates.
We may just get to see 4 candidates on stage for the general election instead of Coke and Pepsi.
 
It's Trump's race to lose. Even if he loses Iowa ( Iowa votes often do not make the presidency in both parties ), he's going to run the table in the South.

Post Iowa and New Hampshire, except lots of sucking up and deal making attempts with the Donald.

A better question is who would his VP pick be. No Sarah Palin types, please. Might I suggest Ohio's governor John Kasich or Florida Senator Marco Rubio? Kasich would be my first choice. Must win Ohio and John has the ground forces in place, plus he's a very hard to dislike and has plenty of experience.
 
If Trump does get the nomination I believe he would want a military type as his VP.

Johnson may be running, but he has not wraped up the nomination. I believe Paul could get more people behind him than Johnson.
 
There's very little on this planet that's more mind-numbing that watching a GOP debate.

There should really only be Trump, Cruz, and Rubio on that stage.
