Limbaugh was right

I think that's right.

He used the name Jeff...something.

I don't remember hearing him. But a friend of mine does and said he was good, and pretty funny. I can see that.

Well, if you don't listen to Rush, you wouldn't really know... now would you Sask ?

Rush actually has a long history with the NFL, was for a time part of an investment group trying to purchase the Rams, was a part of the ESPN pregame show briefly ( until the McNabb comment ) and is an avid Steelers fan.

A comment could also be made....."What the **** does SteelerSask know about football ?" He looks like a ( type insult here )

http://clk.about.com/?zi=13/1tO&ity...07/14/rush-limbaugh-to-represent-the-fans.htm

Because he as part of an investment group he knows the in's and out's of the game??

Limbaugh knows how to get people riled up, I'll give him that

Yeah, Limbaugh on WAMO! Right after Jackie "I like that record" Johnson, right? No Limbaugh was at KQV as Jeff Christie.

I loved WAMO back in the day.

Shazier should have had a TD, he wasn't celebrating an injured player.

Keep the political **** out of this football chat.

There was nothing political there. I never mentioned anything political, if you notice. Just what a guy said. I should have realized everyone would take it there.

Having said that, it is a forum. I will post whatever the hell I want.

A few years ago Rush Limbaugh made some statement about football being like a battle between the Bloods and the Crips. He got ripped for it.

That is what last night looked like. It was disgusting. I'm an old, outdated guy I know. But the Steeler-Raider rivalry in the 70s was hotly contested, and you didn't have that ****. And the Steelers aren't innocent. Shazier was doing some stupid ****** dance around mid-field after the hit on Bernard. I don't know, man. You can be intense and nt do all the crap you saw last night.

Part of me thinks both teams should be sent home.

What!?!?! The Steelers-Raiders didn't have any of this ****? YES IT DID! Those games were brutal and with the way the game is called today there would be multiple ejections, fines, and suspensions for what went on in those games. As far as Limbaugh comparing football to being like a battle between the Bloods/Crips all I can say is it's that type of imagery and comparison that actually makes football players look WORSE for no reason. No one went Last Boyscout out there and pulled out a gun. Last I checked gang violence often ends in DEATH. These guys are playing a game. That's a borderline racist comment by Rush and we all know he's come right out and crossed that line multiple times so I'm not giving him an inch on that. He's always trying to incite things. Saying a guy is immature maybe for dancing is one thing but comparing these guys to murderers is another. How can you not see that? I've been in these neighborhoods where this **** goes on and I've never once thought, hey this feels like football.

DeSean Jackson throws up Crips gang sign at DeAngelo Hall

http://larrybrownsports.com/football/desean-jackson-crips-gang-sign-deangelo-hall/203386

However, the Crips released DeSean - http://www.sportspickle.com/2014/04...-affiliation-washington-redskins-organization

Should not have been an issue. Those Crips are some stand up guys who regularly discuss serious issues.

And don’t get me started on the name controversy,” the Crips member added. “While we may be known as a group that commits crimes such as larceny, drug trafficking and murder, we are NOT known as a group that supports racial stereotypes towards Native Americans. How the NFL hasn’t changed the team name or logo is something we here in the Crips are baffled by and discuss frequently.

I'm sorry you're upset the Steelers won.

Football is a lot safer of a sport now than it was back in the 70s. Shazier danced after causing a turnover(I saw him running down the field, not dancing) but I get it, you want to overlook the great plays by Shazier just to point to the negative. Some people just need something to ***** about... It's a shame.

But what can I say.. Rush knows all and can obviously predict the future. At least your point was made.

Well, that makes one thing he was right about. ******* imbecile.

Some stupid dance? He was saying it was a fumble and should be a touchdown. Then when the ref made the call after review, he couldn't hear the call and was pointing in the Steelers direction like "it's our ball right?"

There was no stupid dance...now William Gay had a stupid dance, still not sure how they can assess that penalty...

I'm sorry, but you're wrong. Shazier was celebrating in a way that made me uncomfortable. My son was like, "Woah Dad, really?" He was absolutely gloating with no concern for Bernard. A class move would have been to have check him out, like Kemo did after hitting Palmer. I'll get it off of my DVR, if you'd like to see it?

SportsPickle is a fake site like The Onion

Limbaugh's brain is behind his back, just below the coccyx.

Heh. You could not be more wrong. I am quite happy the Steelers won. I just don't like all the bullshit, by either side. The dancing I am talking about is after he ran downfield he was at the top of the screen around the 50 dancing around. I think it is stupid. Make a play, get of the field, and focus on the next series. Shazier made great plays. I have no intention of taking that away. But he doesn't have to do the other stuff, does he? Are you going to advance the theory that it is necessary?

This has nothing to do with Rush Limbaugh other than the fact it was he who made the observation, and in watching the game devolve I thought of it. I should have just made the comparison without invoking his name.

Thank you. You saw what I saw.

He was mocking the bungle fans when he went to the sideline by imitating the way their rb collapsed after the hit, it was as classless as you can get.

And there it is...wrong forum, wrong time for Libtardiness.

There is never time for you T-Baggers. ******* t-baggers are always dragging politics onto this side of the board. Enough already you ******* t-baggers. This is football.

Yes, they were good, hard hitting games, but they did not have all the extra curricular stuff. I remember it that way, and moreover, I am remember correctly, as I have obtained DVDs of the '74 and '75 AFCC games, for example. You may certainly borrow them if you would like.

What I saw at times was a bunch of guys out of control at moments last night. If here would have been a gun available, can you say with all certainty one would not have been pulled?

I have been in those neighborhoods too, my whole damn career. Everything starts with guys out of control who shoot their mouths off. Then it goes from there.

Great football post. Odd... a liberal exacerbating the very problem they claim to want to fix. OK, back football.

I don't know man. I can remember Gregg Lloyd saying he was going to take out Dan Marino and then doing it. That was football and its been watered down so that last nights stuff seems crazy.

Please move this to G&G forum. Football fans don't need to read this tripe...
