Figured I would pre-empt the Bengals fan excuse making nonsense right here right now...

Here are the Harsh facts for any of them bold enough to read this board to chew on... First off, let me say I know it must be tough, I mean after all that they get a cruddy draft position and have to be envious of Houston, who never once gave their fans false hope only to rip it away with assholiness and stupidity.
despite that:

The Bengals don't get to blame the refs... not even a little bit. A lot got missed on both sides, but the steelers had 10 penalties for 142 yards and the Bengals only had 8 for 79...the refs did not favor the Steelers at all...
Let me extrapolate this further:

-The refs screwed the Steelers with the call on Munchuk... he was not maliciously attacking the Bengals player... he held him up and got his hand tangled in his hair... an ex-offensive lineman and respected coach in this league isn't pulling hair intentionally, and if you watch football you see coaches regularly try to stop the momentum of players flying into the sidelines.

-The only people who argue that the Shazier hit that caused the fumble should have been flagged do not know the rules... once a player puts two feet down and makes a football move (another step, stopping and turning upfield... anything) he establishes possession and thus becomes a runner... at that moment the defenseless receiver rules go out the window... a hit that causes a fumble cannot be ruled a defenseless receiver infraction since possession must first be established....

-Speaking of that hit, the ref's whistle cost the Steelers a TD... literally took 7 points off the board right there.

-Burfict's hit absolutely was a penalty... arms and shoulders have been included in the ***** defensless receiver rules... if you contact the head while the receiver is reaching for the ball or following through on a catch attempt, you get flagged....

-Pacman Jones whining about getting an unsportmanlike penalty when he tried to bully through several refs to get a guy out there for injury reasons was asinine... Refs have the right to throw that flag for bad language... they certainly have the right to toss it for a guy clearly instigating and mouthing off to refs... Here is a newsflash Bengals fans... if your player shuts his mouth and walks away the steelers are trying a 50+yard attempt, not a chip shot.... and lets also get this out there... pacman and Burfict are known imbaciles, liars and cheats... they have both been caught in lies such as the ankle twisting and the shooting incident before... Justifying their stupidity by listening to them is not wise... they say whatever makes their stupidity look better

_lets go further... did you all know there is another ***** rule on the books saying if a player in the action of sacking the QB intentionally falls with all of his weight on him and drives him into the ground with the intent to cause injury, that's a 15 yarder too? trust me Harrison had it called on him vs New Orleans a few years back.... Now if the refs were really out to get the Bengals, why wouldn't they have called that... or any of the dozen or so really bad holds, including the one where the olineman had the jersey stretched over his head?

Here is an idea... if you want to win a game, maybe score a point in any of the first 3 quarters...
or kneel down three times and kick the field goal at the 26 with a minute and change left,
or don't field known morons in the fading seconds of the game...
or how about this... find out if your backup QB cant play in the cold rain before you draft him into a northern city that plays outdoors.
Maybe just tell your RB to not fumble at all costs in the final minute and a half of a game...

This loss was all on you and your stupid, immature, and out of control players... blame no one else...

ARTICLE 8. INITIATING CONTACT WITH THE CROWN OF THE HELMET. It is a foul if a runner or tackler initiates forcible contact by delivering a blow with the top/crown of his helmet against an opponent when both players are clearly outside the tackle box (an area extending from tackle to tackle and from three yards beyond the line of scrimmage to the offensive team’s end line). Incidental contact by the helmet of a runner or tackler against an opponent shall not be a foul.

One of these days the Bengals may luck into a playoff victory. But the idea that they could win 3 (or 4) consecutive playoff games when depending a guys like Pac Man and Burfict is just laughable...they are both talented players but completely missing the mental make-up of a champion. Mike Brown will never learn that you can't take short-cuts and get to the promised land.

Plus you forgot Pekos "hit and run" unsportsmanlike penalty.

You forgot that the bungles were not penalized after the Burfict int when he and several others left the field. Delay, unsportsmanlike, whatever...there was no call.

Oh yeah why we the not penalized???

Oh yeah why we the not penalized???

because that ref crew was almost as dumb as the Bengal players and fans

that game was a trainwreck

Lewis and the refs should be embarrassed

And we all forgot the PI call on us at the 2 against Green. It was a ticky tacky call. The obvious PI on that play was Green about 3 yards prior to the PI called on us when he pushed off, extending his arm completely, with no call.

Then, it gets better. A series or two later, we had a 3rd down and the ball was thrown to AB. The Bunghole ran at AB with his arms flailing, didn't look back at all and no call. It was the same PI that was called against Green except AB did not push off. We got no call. If they are going to call it on us, they needed to be consistent and call the same exact penalty on them.

Burfict got away with a punch to the face of Decastro when Decastro pancaked him... how the steelers had 92 more yards of penalties than the Bengals before the final two penalties is beyond me.

I would add that Burfect had both hands around DeCastro's neck under his chin straps choking him after DC blocked him to the ground and no penalty.

I asked in another thread, but why wasn't Burfict and his teammates penalized for a group demonstration celebration for running all the way into the locker room?

Burfict gave Ben's shoulder the business with his knee on the sack that injured him.

Burfict also stepped on Ramon Foster's foot. Foster retaliated and he was the one to draw the flag.

How about the obvious pi non call for the should have been TD by brown?

Yep I drunkenly missed a ton, but the point was the Bengals have little to gripe about other than their team blew a lead with a minute and a half left, in scoring range, with possession....

I was so hoping he wasn't down by contact. A safety there would have been epic. But the way he did lose the game was pretty good too.

Lol same here. That would have been utter hilarity if he weren't contacted during the play

If Burfict had run out of the field of play without being touched down with the ball, I don't think they could have gone with the player surrendering himself on the field of play rule... and that would have been far funnier than Hill's fumble... Hill is a stand up guy who will get crucified for that play... Id rather Burfict have lost it all on his own... though I guess this way Pacman got to be part of the stupidity

My son,who always keeps a level head while I scream at the tv,said, dad this started years ago. It's their own fault for drafting thug type players out of college, picking up the same type of players in free agency. What did they really expect. I think he's got something there!

The best thing that could have happened for Hill (aside from the Bungles winning) is that Burfict and Pacman penalties will be remembered more than his fumble. Stupid Bungles.

How about the "I hope your dead" cheer while AB lays on the ground?

Multiple Fans Arrested During Steelers vs. Bengals 2015 AFC Wild-Card Matchup
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...um=referral&utm_campaign=programming-national

Six fans were arrested during the Pittsburgh Steelers' 18-16 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday at Paul Brown Stadium.

Rebecca Butts of Cincinnati.com reported on the unfortunate incidents that took place in the stands, which allegedly included punches being thrown and even a man urinating on someone.

Jared McCarty, 19, was accused of underage drinking, theft, falsification and assault. McCarty argued with a woman prior to entering the stadium and stole her hat, according to police—and later allegedly punched her in the head.

Phillip Ross, 29, is facing an assault charge following his arrest at Paul Brown Stadium after being accused of head-butting a man in the face, per Butts.

Police also said David Grillo, 25, is accused of assault after he threw a beer at a fan's face during a game and caused lacerations.

Andrew Robles, 28, allegedly punched a woman in the face after eluding police officers, according to what police told Butts. He had been ejected from the game beforehand for an unknown reason.

A third woman was allegedly punched in the face by a Steelers fan named Tyler Matthys as he left the stadium at approximately 10 p.m. He has been accused of assault as well.

As for the urination incident that brought about disorderly conduct and assault charges, Martin Cooke, 33, was the alleged culprit. Per court documents, Cooke allegedly peed on the man in front of him, was accused of fighting with him and punched him in the face. Cooke will appear in court Monday, according to Butts.
