- Ben is one tough Mofo

- Running game looked decent without DeWill but we need him back next week

- Bryant has skills. I'm glad he took Ben's advice to heart

- Burfict is a classless punk that deserves to be kicked out of the league. He intends to injure on every play

- No matter if he dropped the nickname, Pacman will always be Pacman and do Pacman things. This is what happens when you sign thugs

- Lost among the Bungles meltdown on the last drive is that there wouldn't be a last drive if Hill didn't fumble.

- Landry Jones should never see the field again

- Tomlin please stop with the two point conversions. Just stop. Kick the xp and go up two scores and two 2 point conversions. My 3 year old could have figured it out

- Bo$well, thanks for not being Scoobee Doo

- 6th seed going into Cincy and Denver? Seems familiar. No Colts this time but we are playing Manning

Oh....Go Chiefs

This was one time I agreed with the two point conversion try. At that point, making it 17-0 would have made it a 3 score game. In those conditions, it seemed unlikely. Hindsight is 20/20, but I didn't have a problem with it at the time.

Other than that, spot on post.

In that instance you HAD to go for 2 to make it a three possession game........

If we had scored TD's instead of kicking FG's, none of the drama would have even come to light. For three straight weeks now we're having trouble putting the ball in the end zone. We could have put last night's game away early.

See, I don't get that. You kick the xp and go up by 16. That means the Bungles have to score two touchdowns AND convert two 2 point conversions just to tie us. As we saw yesterday, the Bungles failed on their only two point attempt yesterday.

It was a tight game. Points were scarce. Kick the extra point. It's coaching basics 101.

None of the ending would have mattered if the refs had correctly handled the Shazier fumble recovery. steelers would have been up by 21-23 with the TD

That was pathetic! Why the whistle. That was so clearly a fumble, I was screaming when it happened live. And during replay after replay, the idiot announcers could only talk about the hit when the ball was clearly coming loose. I was afraid they were going to get away with it and the Bengals would've kicked the FG. Glad Tomlin saw it.

Especially with the Bengals issues converting 3rd and shorts yesterday.

Eh Steelers won a playoff game finally. So happy there. The rest of the game was ugly football

One non-random thought: We NEED A SOLID BACKUP QB!! Maybe Gradkowski is back next year but Landry Jones - or Michael Vick - is not the answer. If LJ runs the final drive the Bengals take a knee to end the game.

We got lucky it should have been a penalty.. I get the runner was not defenseless, but that is not the issue. Shazier led with the crown of his helmet and as far as i know you can not do that under any conditions.

Yeah, I lost that argument against a Steeler hating Facebook friend. Shazier led with his helmet. Should have been a penalty...but I countered that the non-call actually benefited the Bengals because that's what gave them an emotional spark and changed the momentum in their favor.

I agree, but, like it's been said - if the two point conversion is made (and Ben had enough room to run it in BTW) it's a three score game rather than two.

I'm sorry that my guy, AJ McCarron, is stuck on a team like the Bengals...

My thought at the time was that I would have kicked the XP to try and make it a 16 point lead.

Dave...is that just before Porter drew the penalty? I was wondering how he got in the middle of that mix and this would seem to show it. If that's the case then the Bengals players shouldn't have been that close as they were helping Brown off the field.

I would take the 16 point lead and force them to score twice and hit two point conversions. Turns out if Tomlin went with the XP, then the game would have been tied and we wouldn't have relied on a Hill fumble and a defensive meltdown to win. Didn't like the two point call at all.

Don't forget, Ben cost us the game. LOL! Still can't believe we had some on here saying that when he got hurt in the 4th leaving the team with a 15-0 lead.

See , I don't get that! I love the agressiveness of the going for two, making it 3 possessions instead of two, not getting the two had literally no effect on the outcome of the came except instead of 19-17 it was 18-16 (if we had kicked the xtra point and had 15, Bengals would not have tried their failed 2 pt conversion)

Give Landry a week of first team practice and he'd be better... That was a tough situation to be tossed into.

How would the game have been tied? the only reason Bengals had 16 was cause their failed 2pt conversion, it would have been 17-16 and still relied on the fumble and meltdown to win.
