Ben Favre vs. Ben Brady

For all the b.s. about not having Williams or our secondary making AJ the second coming of Montana this game will come down to which Ben you get. If the bungles take the lead by even a small margin and the big dummy reverts to Favre mode, we're one and done.

Of course on this board all other reasons no matter how trifling will be credited as being the reason for the loss.

I think the jist is dink and dunk, not deep passes... which isn't a great plan vs the bengals per se... if you don't stretch that D, they eat dinking teams alive... Miller will be open early while they cover the short stuff, later they move guys up and the deep stuff is open... take what they give you... challenge when you must...

Im hoping the defense will show up and allow him to play patient. Its when he over presses that he is ******. But there is a direct correlation between the defense and his play. The Steelers NEED turnovers tonight.

Bingo.

If you look at the stats for the bungles secondary what they really eat up are qb's who try to push the deep plays when they are not there.

If Ben stays patient, finds the short stuff, and we get a semblance of a run game going the bungles d will be on its heels.
