The Luck/Russell debate is settled. One has faded while the other ascended, leading the league in passer rating this year after a horrendous start to the season.

Now he's got the best guy between the tackles in the NFL back on the field with him.

I can't see who in the NFC can beat them. We smashed the Cards, so we know they're paper tigers. Carson is still the Carson we know, all buff and bluster until you hit his ***. Then he falls to pieces. Seattle stomped Arizona to close out the season 36-6.

I love Cam Newton. He's fun to watch. That defense is great. But they are NOT a complete football team by any means. Their best receiver is Ted ******* Ginn Jr. In the crunch, against Seattle's secondary, Cam will be buck *** naked in a blizzard.

Green Bay may be the most unpredictable up an down team in the NFL. They should beat the Skins, but they're not likely to get past the Cards who lit them up 38-8 just two weeks ago. That's to say nothing of them getting run over by the Panthers in week three (don't let the garbage time late score fool you, it was never that close).

How does Seattle not end up in the Super Bowl 3 years running? I just don't see how.

The Seahawks barely beat a spotty Steelers team and they needed an epic brainfart from Tomlin to do it. AND Sherman got away with mugging Brown all day. I'm not that convinced they're unbeatable.

I reserve judgement until after Sunday. If they can go in to Minnesota's harsh weather and handle a team that is playing well, then perhaps we can crown them. This is something they haven't had to deal with previously.

Not until then.

You never know - putting Lynch back in might upset their offense in a bitter cold game. I'd laugh if AP runs all over them.

KIRK ******* COUSINS TO THE SB!

Part of why Seattle is playing so well is because Russell is being asked to just go out and fling it all around. He has no running game to speak of to throw off his rhythm, as we can see he is definitely a streaky, rhythm player. Having Lynch back in might **** with the mojo Wilson has been building up lately. Let's not just assume the "on paper" effects will translate in a predictable way

A man coming back from injury is never 100%.

Also ARI got wrecked by seattle because they already had the bye clinched. No reason to force starters or get injuries in a meaningless game to them.

Looking ahead, I know --- but lets not forget that Carolina has in the past played the Seahawks pretty tough, even when they were a middling team and Seattle was at its peak. A healthy Lynch is important, but not the end all, be all. That being said, they will advance on Sunday.

I'm not a huge fan of playing Cam either. Our secondary is so mistake prone. They would have a HELL of a time trying to read Cam's run/pass tendencies, and an even worse time trying to tackle him in the open field.

Didn't Carolina win in Seattle this year??

I might be wrong but Ari was playing for homefield if CAR lost.

Luck/Wilson debate is settled? How do you figure? Luck was hurt most of the year. I can see the Seachickens going into sub-zeo Minnesota and losing.

Luck regressed badly before he went down. He's always been interception prone, but he looked absolutely shell shocked this year. Barring some miracle turnaround, he's likely to be just another also ran QB in this league.

Wilson became the first QB in NFL history to throw for 4,000 yards, 30 TDs and run for 500 yards, he is the best QB in the game right now.

Worry about the bengals lol

Dude was getting KILLED. He has torn cartilage in his ribs and a lacerated kidney!!! "Before he went down" is WAY after he was actually hurt and the Indianapolis offensive line is just simply offensive. Luck was absolutely CARRYING the Colts to any success they have. That roster is pathetic.

Now, I think both are really good. Wilson, in that system, is awesome...put Luck in a Cincinnati's offense and the Bungles are 15-1 at worst. Dalton's pop-gun arm is nothing compared to Luck's.

The Redskins back in the super bowl. That would be awesome. The libtards' heads would explode!

Seahawks got hot at the right time, they are definitely a contender but I do agree that the cold weather in Minn could undo them.

Any other circumstances the Vikings would have a tough time. This is optimal for them and AP will likely roll over them in revenge of being held short in the first game. The Vikings were missing three of the top defensive players in the game they lost, it wasn't the same defense without them. Zimmer has them rolling now days.

Could be THE upset of the weekend. (By the way, it will be -20 here at 8:00 on Sunday morning) Seattle players won't know what hit them.

I think Seattle is for real. Their defense has come around and they are scoring 30+ points a game. I believe they make it back to the SB.

Just saw on ESPN that Lynch ain't playing. Guess he ain't " all about that action" anymore.
