I have only one question for people who love Brady, and I ask it all the time:

If the NFL Competition Committee hadn't re-written it's rule book to favor Brady and Manning, where would those to players be in a league with guys like Peppers, Watt, Freeney, Strahan et al?

The answer is retired by 2005 or so.

In many ways the NFL has become the WWE: sports entertainment. These "pure passers" are basically pro wrestlers that no one is allowed to go full speed against. They are one deminsional guys who can do a limited number of things. Think I'm bullshitting? Look at Manning in the playoffs and Brady against the Giants. They can be shut down because unlike Ben or Rodgers or Newton, they can't do ANYTHING else BUT throw.
