Wow. I like our chances, but to be favored to the away team and div. champ? Kind of surprised.

We are also a 2nd tier odds SB team, coming in a 8-1 odds.

 
I think it'll be a pick em game when game time hits.

The craziest odds I've seen this year was Steelers to win the Superbowl at 12-1 odds. this was AFTER the loss to the Ravens. Vegas knew we were getting in the post season!

We had a low percentage of even making the playoffs yet still had better Superbowl odds than something like 3 or 4 teams.. Vegas definitely knows.
 
WoWzza favored by 2.5............ I wouldn't have guessed that as the injury of DW has to be factored in. Maybe the odds makers are figuring a home game for them STEELERS...........

It wasn't THAT crazy.

Those guys are good at what they do. People do no appreciate how much those setting the lines study and know the game.

Going into last weekend, they weighed two things, IMO.

1) The Steelers have the talent, particularly on offense, to advance in January as much as any team IF they made it in.

2) The Jets losing in Buffalo was FAR from an unlikely scenario.
 
Weren't the Steelers favored by 10 over the Rats?
Sucker bet even at 2.5
 
Favored only because of the QB situation ...Dalton is in Bungals would be favored by 3-4

Well the betting line is for the gamblers and Cincinnati has not won a playoff game in a long time. They remember.
 
Bungles are also bad in the playoffs, bad in prime time, bad at home against us, etc...
