How in holy hell does this guy still have a uniform for the Steelers?? What game film are the coaches watching? Game after game opposing teams just pick on him and they continue to run him out there. So frustrating.

Of course Mr Tomlin matches him up against a guy that's s foot taller too.

I'll tell you this much boys! If we lose this game we all know Tomlin isn't going anywhere but the seat should start to be getting warm in Pittsburgh for this guy. This guy has to be held accountable for some very poor decisions this season on players starting and his trick plays. You play this badly against the two worst rosters in the NFL something is wrong.

Blake is our way of playing for a higher draft pick without being obvious about it.

Say what you want about Tomlin, Blake made a good play the very next play knocking it away from Pryor, and after that series, Crockell was matched up with Pryor the rest of the game. They made an adjustment with Blake.

They've been playing Blake in the first half and Cockrell in the second. That needs to change.

Because he was drafted by Tombert. We've seen many times where Tombert will start a bad player they drafted over a UDFA or lower pick or trade so it doesn't look as much that they made a bad pick.

It makes absolutely no sense.

It is rather obvious, at least in games, that Cockrell is the better CB.

Blake must be a practice all star during the week.

Actually it was Boykin they were rotating with Blake

For the playoffs Blake and Jarvis need to ride the bench.

I am happy our season isn't over ! yes !

Either he's good enough to play both halves or he's not (he's not). So why play him one half and not the other when clearly Cockrell is superior?? It's been 4 weeks like this and it makes absolutely no sense.

This is just flat out wrong. Blake wasn't even drafted. He was signed by the Jags as an UDFA.

Nope. It's amazing how you don't have one guy getting picked on consistently when Blake is out of the game.

I'm sure Antwon Blake will improve markedly before next weekend.

If not he'll be replaced at the half. That's my prediction anyway.

(And by God, we'll have our conditional pick next year for Boykin!) Nice bit of work there Coach T.

I noticed that they moved Blake to the weakside this week.He still got picked on some but he didn't have to try and tackle as much..thank goodness. He also made a couple positive plays for a change.

It looked like they also still only play Boykin in the slot and play Cockrell for Blake in the second half. At least that's what i think is happenin'.

Glad to see Ventrone back too, He's B rate at best at safety but he's a solid backup and a very good special teams guy.

I woulda never thunk we'da made the playoffs but we did, so GO STILLERS

Then why the hell do they keep starting him when it's obvious that he sucks and Boykin is better?

I'm as baffled as everyone else. But it's been reported many times that they believe Boykin is only a slot CB. So it would be Cockrell in Blake's place and Boykin coming on the field for the nickel (and Gay staying outside instead of playing the slot when we go nickel).

Didn't see Jarvis all game

Jarvis and Gay combined on an early tackle to stop a 3rd down conversion. After that, I didn't see him either. Was he hurt?

Also Cockrell is playing the sidelines perfectly. He's physical, he faces the ball, and he USES the sideline to cut off the WR. I want him on the field every ******* play!

That is what I thought. I was just about to go check when I read your post.
