Game Day thread - Steelers vs. Browns Episode II

I just don't get this team's motivation points and overall sense of urgency. They play great in Seattle minus some questionable play calling and some mistakes but still pretty damn good showing. They play pretty well at Cincy for a big win. But they lay an egg in B'more to basically 2'nd teamers and now struggle against a very bad Browns team. Plus they faced two QB's that are a joke. What does it take to make this team wake up and realize the sense of urgency.
I've always wondered this, which is why I've always been suspicious of Tomlin. But then I'm just told it's the players' fault somehow. When they think they will get an easy win, they take more ridiculous risks that end up biting them in the ***, or don't make plays they need to make because the focus isn't there

How could anyone really judge urgency? Like really do they need to be doing jumping jacks before every play. Both teams want to win. The play calling from Haley isn't great this game but we basically have no RB right now.

Yes, but we seem to be very flat, like we don't care.

Every player is responsible for his own level of focus. Pretty simple. It's called being an adult first and a professional second.

Thank you... This really should be the common sense post of the year. I don't know why everyone expects a NFL coach to "motivate" the players like this is little league. Every player is accountable for their own actions.

You just did saying we would be out of the half.

Hey buddy, you talked of a drop, I talked of snapping the ball with possession on the 15. It takes time to run plays, obviously...

No way they try to score getting possession under 30sec with that QB.

I got home 6 minutes before halftime and got my lucky hot wings ready.

How could anyone really judge urgency? ow.

That moment when your in your car in the middle of no where and your belly rumbles, you start to get that sensation and you recall that bad burrito you had earlier in the day. That's about to be an explosion of which there is no control. Urgency.

There could be 3.....3 INTs this game if Browns don't drop them........tell me whats different that youre seeing that im not.

No, Ben is or so I am being told. . .

No, Ben is responsible for his own play ... he's been sucking lately. Should Tomlin take him out too?

Lmao. That one I can agree on.

Damn - Bills just fumbled on their opening drive. Jet's with the ball on their 23

Illegal Blocks in the back always seem to bite every return team in the ***.

The difference is that we don't have a better option than Ben at QB. We do have better options than Blake.

Good start by the D
