Here's the thing, at the beginning of the year I think most people thought that 10-6 would be a good year for the team because of the defense. Well, they're one win away from being 10-6, unfortunately, it may not be good enough to get into the playoffs this year. Obviously, the disappointing part is having the chance to secure the playoffs at their fingertips and laying an egg against another bottom feeder. On the other hand they have beaten 3 playoff bound teams, Cardinals, Bengals, Broncos and had the Seahawks on the ropes.
Here's hoping for a Bills uprising,probably not happening, but here's hoping. It would be even better if they mollywhop the Browns this weekend and make Manziel look bad in the process. I'd hate to see him go for 300 yards again even if the Steelers win the game.

I'm trying not to be bitter.
But damn with all the adversity this team played through we **** the bed twice with the Rats and have to root for the ******* Bills in order for our season to continue.
Hard for me to be optimistic about that.

Unless, Dalton will be back for the playoff game sitting McCarron seems a bit risky. He's played in exactly 3 NFL games and he failed last night with the bright lights on at the end. He needs playing time it's not like you get a game against a bad team in the playoffs. If Dalton isn't playing and McCarron sits week 17 I believe the Bengals will be one and done.
I don't like that decision at all if Dalton isn't playing.

Entirely possible that the Jets fall flat on their faces, they're highly capable of it. I'm just not expecting it. Hope for it, root for it I will.

Take that a bit further and tell me how many would have said 10-6 when Bell/Beachum/Pouncey went down for the season and Ben for 4 games. As you point out we won against 3 division wjnners and maybe 4 while this last Ravens game was the only really bad loss. You'd think that might get Tomlin a little credit-even on this Board.

Either Dirt was extremely fortunate to be as injury free or Pouncey is just flat out injury prone/unlucky. I'm sure he was on the injury report more than a couple times but Dawson just seemed to keep going and going and going. Sure miss his dependability at center.
Good point, Tom. Maybe its simply his being surrounded by lesser talent where Dawson had folks alongside him who could pull their share of the load.
I agree about Pouncey. He does his job and gets hurt. Pure snake bit. That said, The Proctologist isnt doing bad. Since the NFL is a "what have you done lately" organization, I dont recall Pouncey being that much better than Wallace.

Yep. Steeler Chili is on the list. I want to make it again with the last of the venison meat that's in our freezer. Hope its not the last batch of the season. At least the weather will finally be cold enough to make it feel like football season.

Took a peek at Bills message board for fun.. there's a good amount on there that will be rooting for the Jets to beat their team because they would rather a division opponent go to the playoffs rather than Steelers lol.. thought that was pretty funny and pathetic.
That makes no sense to me.
Look, the Jets have impressed me. They have won 5 in a row, and this week would make 6. I dont recall the Jets doing that, perhaps ever. I give them a chance to screw it up. As far as message boards go, Id hate to think players come to places like this for their motivation or marching orders.
