Harbaugh out-coaches Tomlin....AGAIN.

Also they drafted a teammate of Dupree from Kentucky late in the draft and he's been way more productive. Careered on us twice to boot. Another kick to the fat sac

Asking why Tomlin didn't kick the field goal? Because his over hyped 12 year 20 million dollar QB waived it off and said don't worry coach I got this. That wasn't a coaching by gut. That was OK Ben do whatever you want because your the star of the show I trust you.

You're right when you say that isn't coaching by gut. That isn't coaching at all. If you are letting your QB make the decisions you should be making, letting the inmates run the asylum, that is worse.

With how the offense was moving the ball against the defense, this wasn't even the worst call of the game and I'm sure half the people that are calling it a dumb decision were yelling "go for it" at the time of the play. Bunching up and trying to play power football was the wrong decision, but not going for it.

I don't know what to believe right now. All I know is that if they were prison, Mike Tomlin would be John Harbaugh's ***** and walk around with his shirt tied up at the mid drift callIng him "honey with the big fat purple bird that lives in his stinky poo poo cage'. Or something like that. MT is a POS and sucks as a head coach. Minus all the winning seasons and 2 super bowl appearances and stuff.

****....it's like having a hot *** girlfriend who is sexy as **** and super cool, but is also bipolar and ****.

Well right now Ben is Flacco and Ryans *****.........got his lunch money jacked yesterday by a scrub. And for the record, those two INTs are indicative of a larger issue with Ben. He is projected to have one of his worst seasons with TD/INT ratios........the last time he thew 14 picks (hes at 14 now in 10 games hes played) we missed the playoffs........so, seems hes regressed.

I was ok with going for it,, but you are right, lining up in obvious running formation was way too predictable. I was hoping for play action and a quick hitter. Momentum killer started there.
I know we were running the ball with ease that first series, but by doing that Ben does not get a rhythm. Even one pass. I don't know why they don't play to their strengths. Someone else said it above, they played right into the Raven gameplan. what about hurry up? (Not muddle - huddle). Go Bills.

Difference of opinion here I guess. The Steelers were buying their own hype I'm afraid.....this was an opportunity to take a three point lead. They can't all be TD's. The three points send the Rats D to the bench to contemplate the gashing they were taking in the run game and our O to the bench feeling okay and with a good understanding of what the rats D was doing. Time to look at some pictures, mentally gear up and discuss with receivers for the next series.
Instead we send our O to the bench deflated and their D to their bench jacked. Worse yet, the crowd now believes and they were LOUD the rest of the day.

Might not have been the worst decision of the day though.....I'm still wondering wtf the 3 TE, shotgun set from the one on first and goal was about?

Really, I'm sure the star Ben, wanted to come out and run the ball 14 times in the first 20 plays?

I dont have much of a problem with going for it there, I'd kicked the FG, but was ok going for it, but at least have a damn lead blocker, or go 3 or 4 wide and run it from that formation, so they cant stack the LOS.

In other words, it was terrible coaching.

Why even discussing this is worthless at this point.

Rooneys won't make a move to boot Tomlin for years for the following reasons:

1.) Rooney rule. The rule was named after them, to force teams to at least interview one black candidate for head coach spots. How slow will they be on tigger in FIRING a black head coach?

2.) Rooneys wear the "3 head coaches since 1970" like a medal on their chest. They constantly brag about this. They act as if that alone proves them as genius.

3.) "Slow and Low, that is the tempo." They are opposite of knee jerk, which is good, overall, but you can overdo the lack of alacrity, as Al Michaels would put it.

There won't be any changes in the off season..Tomlin will still be hc. Jarvis Jones will get a 4 year extension for tipping a pass today. Blake will be named the starting corner for next year at Tomlins end of year presser..Steelers will go 8-8 again next year.

Hopefully you're right next year. You were dead wrong about it this year...

#1 is minority candidate, not black candidate. Ron Rivera was our first interview. So we didn't need to interview Tomlin. I'm surprised more people here aren't screaming over passing over Rivera since he's killing it in Carolina this year...

No I am sure he didn't. That's why he was pouting all day, but when a thousand people ask why Tomlin didn't take the points I answered. Not saying I agree or disagree,

I know me personally I don't let my QB make decisions when he has shown to not make very smart ones.

Except for the fact that he's also absolutely right. Please refute anything he said with facts...
again explain what Harbaugh did to out coach Tomlin...I didn't see any coaching from Baltimore that won this game, playing like crap lost the game not Harbaugh's brilliance.

Just last year there was much speculation whether Rivera would remain their coach.

And where have you heard the Rooney's "brag"? Didn't know you were in their social circle.
