Cleveland Browns outside linebacker Armonty Bryant will not play Sunday against the Chiefs after being arrested early Friday morning.

Browns GM Ray Farmer sent out a statement Saturday morning saying the team was aware of the fact that Bryant, who is second on the team with 5.5 sacks, and teammate De'Ante Saunders were arrested after a traffic stop.

Oh gosh... if anyone has twitter or facebook the fan's reaction to this is timeless... make me pity that cities fans all the more... what a sad sack Cleveland 2.0 has been...

I had a Cleveland Browns fan for over 30 years send me a Christmas card with this bit of wisdom about NFL plans regarding wins and losses to the Browns: "...beating the Browns twice counts for one win: Losing to the Browns once is two losses. Losing twice & the team is suspended for one season". The factory of sadness keeps churning out product.
 
It is sad. They just can't get out of their own way. But at the same time, what message is ownership sending with Johnny Foosball?

He's back and starting. Why the heck NOT vet wasted on your off-time in a losing season. It's not like the coaches are going to do anything about it. Except maybe promote you or give you a salary bonus.
 
I can't beleive the bad run that the browns franchise has had. "the foctory of sadness" label is a true fit. From the top of the management to the itsy bitty steph infection cell, they are are all hopeless. Who in their right mind would want to go there and play???? I know how the draft works and most players know they don't have a choice. What would happen if a player held out? Not a low level, but a VERY HIGH level player? I mean all the way to the extent of telling publicly, I just don't want to play for a perinial bad loser team, such as these browns. Some here think it is funny as the the extent of the demise of the browns ad their fans. I have empathy for them. I try not to rub anything in or make fun of any fans,..................UNLESS.................. tey start something, then I finish it.

Agreed, it's not even funny anymore it's just sad.

It's unbelievable they still have fans with all the bull **** they've had to endure.
 
It's one thing to draft a guy who used marijuana, but when he's been arrested for dealing...
 
This rivalry used to be special... I remember how great it was as a kid and young adult... The ravens rivalry have never been the same... sure on the football field its a good rivalry, but its not like that city is a mirror image of Pittsburgh in many ways... or just up the road either.... Stupid Modell F'ing everything up

Funny thing is, Johnny Alcoholic playing with a hangover is still their best QB.
 
Recap - Saunders refused a breathalyzer for DUI and a gun was also found and he doesn't have a concealed carry permit.

Being that I originally grew up in that area, I remember when the rivalry meant something: in the late 80s when the Browns were blowing the AFC Championship and were clearly better.

Soon as it was obvious the Steelers were better and especially after Belichick cut Kosar they gave excuses that they didn't care anymore.

It used to be fun to bury them year after year and to taunt. Now it's just pathetic.

Their fans hate us with a passion but most of us don't really care any more. The less we give a crap the angrier they get.
Lady at my wife's company's Cleveland office asked her to find a Roethlisberger jersey for her to give to her niece for Christmas. She's 10 years old and has given up on the Browns and will be a Steelers fan henceforth.
