Hearing this morning and last night on DVE that Joey Porter went nuts in the locker room at halftime and gave the Defense a speech to get them fired up. Basically the theme was "THIS ISN'T STEELERS DEFENSE".

Well it musta rang through loud and clear cuz they all backed up Peezy!

WOOOOHOOOOO!!!
 
The first half was all about communication breakdowns..... That Sanders TD should never have happened. Its the same thing that happened vs NE with Gronk.
 
I hope Coach Butler utilizes more "man coverage" going forward.

I would also like to see more interior pressure to compliment the outside pressure that Jarvis and Buddy have been producing---I kept getting made that a 6'8" QB could NOT be contained yesterday.

Shutting the Bronco offense down - COMPLETELY in the second half - speaks volumes of the talent and pride that this whole team possesses...

Absolutely, and I think last night, not to mention previous games that we've manned up (New England game a few years ago), showed that these guys have the ability to play aggressive press man coverage and be successful, we need more of that.
 
All the Tomlin backers are saying it was "his" half time adjustments... After this long I knew it couldn't be him. That D came out pissed off and if Peezy got them fired up lets give the man some credit. Tomlin on the other hand had to get his face into the camera to try to take credit.

Tomlin gets blamed for every little thing. He does deserve credit for the win.
If people are going to blame him for losses when a FG kicker misses attempt after attempt then yeah, he deserves some credit when we win too. Besides, no one knows exactly what kind of adjustments were made or what was said in the locker room.
 
What ever the adjustments, we began to make Osweiler move around in the pocket. He had to hurry his throws AND we began to take away the short throws. We were in their heads by the end and drops became the norm.

Porter deserves credit for the attitude change on the field.

Getting Blake off the field helped.

I knew someone would take the OPs comment and use it to discredit Tomlin. I had a ****** feelin......I just assumed it would be one of the other clowns on this board. The defense wasn't pissed. The defense just played better, put more pressure on. It helped when the offense started sustaining drives.

So let me ask you...you think Tomlin is nothing more than a figure head....holding a headphone and is in essence a non-factor on this team ? And if so, where would you get this information that no one else in the press nor in the FO has access to or is aware of.

You "insider know it all" ************* kill me daily with this bullshit. I just laugh at you crazy som' *******. Cuz you ************* are just that....CRAZY !!!

and it has be come apparent that the KICKER did not inform the coach that he was injured ... I guess Coach has to be a mind reader
 
Tomlin gets no credit again. LOL. The issue I have with the coaching staff is they waited to half time to start manning up and scrapping the zone coverages with the 10 yard cushions. If you guys or gals want to ***** about something ***** about that.

We can't do that, he's too immature going to the ground and celebrating TDs with defensive players...
 
And tomlin attempts to trip players in the field of play and makes jesters to the cameraman.

What I think I saw was the secondary pressing/jamming receivers to throw off the timing of Osweiler's first read which then gave the pass rush time to apply pressure and forced Osweiler to try and force passes into his 2nd and 3rd reads. He wasn't comfortable doing that, although, the Steelers can also thank "alligator arms" Davis for not really wanting to catch the potential game winning 1st down throw. :)

The hate for Tomlin is just ridiculous, it's pathetic really.
