Jets-Cowboys Saturday-nighter

Games like this ... Man, I'm glad my grandfather made sure I'm a Steelers fan ... those Dallas fans have to deal with too many games like this. smh
 
Yep ... typical Cowboys game. Steelers have to win their way in ... and that's not a bad thing. If they're able to do it, they'll be battle tested and have the playoff mentality.
 
well, that sucked. So close too...
 
Once more... This game had no meaing to the steelers... We will take the playiff spot with a win tommorrow despite the jets win, and a loss wouldnt give the steelers a game up since any steeler loss to an afc team surrenders their tiebreker
 
McFadden was gashing them up the middle so at the end of the game they have him on the sideline for Turbin in that series where they settle for the FG. Stupid.
 
We'll make it the old fashioned way - WIN!
 
Watching a game like that really puts things in perspective. It's good to be a Steeler fan.
 
2 weeks in a row, the Jets were handed the W. They are not a very good team. Let's hope they lose to the Cheats and then even to the Bills.

I can see them easily losing to the Pats....

(A loss would put the Steelers regardless on the wrong side of the tiebreaker)

I want the 2 seed... Root for us to win out, cinci to lose out, or at least the ravens and broncos games, KC to drop one, and Denver to only win vs the Bengals.....

That all sounds peachy, glorious,whatever. The Steelers just needs to take of their own business, win the remaining three games, make the playoffs and let the chips fall where they may. Steelers are going to be a tough out if they make the post season.
 
It looked to me like Fitzgerald fumbled with about 2:00 left in the game, and the Cowgirls recovered on their own 20. Too close to reverse, but it sure as hell looked like a fumble.

That was 2 times that the refs ruled the guy down and the replay was not enough to overturn. If either call is made the other way - and both damn well could have been - the outcome is different. If you are the Jets, and consider yourself a playoff team, then relying on help from the referees to beat a crappy Cowgirl team with Matt Awful and Kellen Moore at QB is not inspiring.

He reminds me of Case Keenum. The more Keenum plays, the better he looks. He's definitely a decent NFL backup, and a spot-starter.

Maybe the same will happen with Moore. I'm just glad to see him get a shot. I'm tired of all the retread QBs, i.e. Cassel, Whitehurst, Weeden, etc.

The whole time he was with the Lions, people did and said everything they could to prove that Moore was a better option than Matt Stafford. Personally, I don't know a whole lot about him, but these people were going a little overboard with their opinions of him. They latched onto him as if he really was their franchise quarterback and that he only needed a shot. They'd call in and say that he was basically the missing piece to them being a perennial contender because their gut told them so. For some, they renounced their fandom when the lions got rid of him. It was a big deal here. The people here definitely deserve better than what the lions have given them, but they're not the smartest bunch. Now, I feel he's a better option than Matt cassle but not Matt Stafford.

I agree. I didn't see the last one but the decker fumble was very iffy. Especially because of all the problems interpretating possession and control of the football. If wheatons catch against Seattle was incomplete, then I don't see how the decker play wasn't a fumble.
