Retired DHS agent taking his story to the American people.

The San Bernardino attack could have been prevented.

The civil liberties of this scum takes priority over the safety of American citizens.

Investigation deleted, wiped out.

This former agent then investigated.

"But after more than six months of research and tracking; over 1,200 law enforcement actions and more than 300 terrorists identified; and a commendation for our efforts; DHS shut down the investigation at the request of the Department of State and DHS own Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Division. They claimed that since the Islamist groups in question were not Specially Designated Terrorist Organizations (SDTOs) tracking individuals related to these groups was a violation of the travelers civil liberties. These were almost exclusively foreign nationals: When were they granted the civil rights and liberties of American citizens?

Worse still, the administration then went back and erased the dots we were diligently connecting. Even as DHS closed my investigation, I knew that data I was looking at could prove significant to future counterterror efforts and tried to prevent the information from being lost to law enforcement. In 2013, I met with the DHS Inspector General in coordination with several members of Congress to attempt to warn the American peoples elected representatives about the threat.

In retaliation, DHS and the Department of Justice subjected me to a series of investigations and adverse actions, including one by that same Inspector General. None of them showed any wrongdoing; they seemed aimed at stopping me from blowing the whistle on this problem. Earlier this year, I was finally able to honorably retire from government and Im now taking my story to the American people as a warning.

See that's the thing about warrant less survielence. No oversite means that mistakes can be covered up. The NSA has a great collection of dirty joke emails and boob and dick pics though.

Everyone needs to pay attention to the rhetoric of politicians and their minions..........because I've been questioning the exact same thing for years as they apply that distinction to illegal immigrants. If you repeat a lie often enough eventually people don't even point it out.....after enough time it becomes accepted.

DHS surveillance of Muslims bad.
IRS surveillance of Tea Party good.

Did DBS say that in another thread? Cuz he didn't say it here.

This thread is interesting. Civil liberties, Constitutional rights, these things are called "freedom". The same "freedom" that The Right is constantly touting around the world. But it seems that most of you aren't interested in freedom. You're interested in "feeling safe".

America is not worth having if it's to be a police state. These "rights" and "liberties" that people in this thread are ******** on are the only things that make America America.

Liberty or death. That is what this country was founded on. Not a nanny state fuzzy feeling "safe zone". Better to die on your feet than live on your knees.

I was pissed when they got rid (supposedly) of tapping everyone. **** it. I could care less if they hear me talk **** about whatever in my phone or ask my friend for a dime bag, look up some crazy porn. They don't give a ****. They want the bad guys which there are plenty. No let's be all PC and ****.

They don't care until they do. Until it becomes useful to do you in. Hoover was the most powerful man in the United States because he had FBI files on every public figure. Extortion was his bread and butter. You want to go back to that?

Americans have become a bunch of pansies. Shriveling cowards hiding behind Lady Liberty's skirts. If that's how you want to live your life, scared of your own shadow, that's fine. But don't ask it of me.

****, I have nothing to hide nor fear the govt using in me.

Yeah I'm a ***** because I don't want some towel head shooting up the mall I'm going Christmas shopping at, or bomb some sports event I saved my money to attend.

Yes. Yes you are.

You are more likely to be struck by lighting

Than to be killed by "terrorism" in any given year.

Lol. Another elfie.

I don't care about the gun violence stat. Problem is, all the graphs with terrorism stats on them ALSO seemed to have the "gun violence" number attached to them.

If you left it up to me, I'd keep my "rights" and "liberties" and give you all the security blanket guns you want. I'd encourage open carry as a deterrent, not just to criminals but these out of control cops too.

Out of control cops. So using your graphs and **** that I'm more likely to get struck down by the hand of Thor than a towel head bomb. Your more likely to be saved, or have the tens of thousands men and women in uniform do the right thing, risking their lives protecting you than running into some cop with an issue.

Get **** on all day, get shot at all day, then try to reason with some **** who may or may not be trying to not allow you to go home at night.

Not at all, just pointing out the targeting inconsistencies and hypocrisy of the Bammy government.

How often are cops actually shot in America? A cop is statistically more likely to have a heart attack on the job than be shot. 15-25 officers are killed in gunfights each year. On the other hand, they shoot thousands of people every year. The "danger" of the job is grossly overstated.

And look, if you're a coward, you should probably be doing something else for a living anyway.

I didn't mention ghost but it's a fair assessment. The current regime has spent more effort targeting his opposition than actual terror threats in the country.

My other concern with warrantless searches is without oversite evidence can be planted more easily. The wall of privacy protects more than your secrets.

Another lawyer or want to be ******* lawyer. They're all the same full of ****.

Amazing how far you people will reach.

So lets ban guns and lighting.

Lighting is "an act of god",,,,but so is the murdering of innocents according to Islamic savages and apologists like you right?
