Big Ben

so after today Ben will need to average about 335 yards a game to hit 4000 yards. Not real impressive unless you consider that he will do that in only about 11 games. how in the **** is he not in the MVP conversation?

Thats a good question. He has been unstoppable and Ice Cold under pressure leading the team down the field. I think given the weapons Ben has they wont give him alot of credit like Newton having litterally no one. But Ben is deffinitly the Best QB in the leaugue right now if you ask me.

Well Ben is just a game manager after all.

He's been great, but it's hard to make an MVP case for a player in any of the major sports when he misses more than a quarter of the season.

One just has to wonder what it could have been from team record and statistical standpoints had he not missed those games, as I get the sense the Steelers would be fighting for the number one seed in the AFC and Roethlisberger would be running away with the MVP, regardless of what Newton is doing,

He's become a dominant passer, reaching a level of play I really never thought he would.

Agree 200% This team is nothing without Ben. Sorry Terry, Ben will be remembered as the Best QB in Steelers history. Best reciever in the game and the Best rb in the game still would not be championship material without Ben.

Easy now

Ben is damn good QB. But Terry has 4 SB's

Didn't people want to trade Ben to the Texans in the offseason???

DOLTS!

Ben will never get credit for his play but the guy can do it. I really felt the way we were fighting for every yard the first half and the defense not able to stop Denver, I never saw the outcome coming. You could tell in ben's face on the interception at two minutes he was taking full blame. I respect everything he does. That was one heck of a come back . Ben's talent is kind of wasting away with our team really not complete and with the injuries which has us playing catch up to get in the play offs.

Not saying Ben isnt bad. The guy is the teams identity. But championships

No doubt, Terry was great and he had a Hall of Famer with him at every level of the team offensively and defensively. No one player has ever won a single NFL game by themselves.

What is odd is that Ben the last few games has been a dunk and drunker averaging less than 10 yards a completion .

that first TD to Brown was a thing of beauty

Bradyish

Playing it smart against the better defenses. Two of his interceptions came on longer throws over the last two weeks.

Yep, two dumb long throws. With our weapons we are much better when Ben just gets the ball into their hands quick as possible. Brown is unstoppable with today's flag football rules, dumb not to target him 20 times a game.

Its just taking what the d gives you.... The Broncos put extra in the box to shut down the run often... the corners play deep routes so well, the safeties are probably a bit more focused on the run... short stuff with crisp routes is very hard for a man to man scheme to defend. just like the Bengals were giving us the TE... or the multitude of times teams were doubling our recivers deep and shorting the run D.... we have a total offense capable of not having to force anything

And, I saw some idiot ask one of the talking heads on their Q&A if they should trade Ben this coming offseason. Some people just don't get it.
