Coldplay to be Halftime of Super Bowl Headliner,,, uuuggghhh

Change the channel and watch the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet...the only way to ever get rid of this nonsense is for the ratings to crater at halftime.
 
Coldplay, that's code for most of Tomlin's 4th down decisions cause they're sad and depressing too.

But seriously, to hell with the half time show. I don't think there's ever been one that I was pleased with. I guess Bruno Mars was alright.
 
Coldplay is alright for some halftime show, but this is Super Bowl L, they needed to lock down a big-time headliner act and they failed. In that respect, very disappointed with this.

I am not mr.country,but Garth Brooks,superstar lots of energy would put on a good show.

I think a karaoke contest would be better than Coldplay. ******* Coldplay.

Why not Sevendust,or Tool or A Perfect Circle? Hell, Sixx AM would be excellent. Coldplay. Swing and a miss.
 
Foo Fighters would kick ***, but Grohl drops the F bomb too much- most of the show would be bleeped out. Shinedown would be most excellent as well.

For SB 50 should be something special. Some suggestions I have would be have a group from each of the last 5 decades, have groups from different genres (pop, country, rock, easy listening, rap), or just have some good pump up the crowd music. I mean cold play / katy perry that is not "lets get pumped up" music.

Thats what Im sayin! Get a few of the best college marching bands in the country and let them do a traditional halftime show. I would watch that ****.

Agreed, they go waaay overboard with the pyro. Feel like I'm watching the fog bowl when the 2nd half starts

I would too. Maybe it's just because I have a trumpet player and color guard in marching band now but some of them do some amazing stuff.

Ive always loved the marching bands since I was little. They do some amazing stuff. I live down the street from our school district's football stadium. I can hear them at half time. Its awesome.

Band is a big deal down here. Ive seen some good competitions.
