The Big O is now the man. Peyton is done, time for them to move on.

Now everyone gets to see what a real Montana kid can do.

Ryan who?

Peyton says he will play next year. If not in Denver then, somewhere else.

Peyton may still play this year but Elway may keep him out if Osweiler keeps performing. Peyton is a fool to try and play next year. He has been awful all year. It's not like he just started sucking due to the injury. He sucked from the first game. 17 ints is more than he throws in an entire year plus in a normal year for him and he threw that in 8 or 9 games.

It's time to hang it up Peyton.

Some athletes, IMO especially some of the the elite find it next to impossible to give it up. My memory is not up to the task but I do recall several like Franco, Rod Woodson and even Brett Farve refusing to admit that the end was near. Whether it's the big money, the comradery or more likely the lust for the limelight, it still pushes some of these guys way past their safe limits and future well being.

Woodson, 7 seasons after being let go by the Steelers, tied for the league lead in INTs with 8, and finished 2nd in INT return yards and TDs. He also played in his third SB. He retired after the following season.

Yep, Rod was nowhere near past his prime, Dummaho was a complete idiot.

Joe

Stick a fork in him. He is done.

Steelers will sign Manning next year, and move Ben to backup.

Sadly, I would not put it past Coach Cool Shades spending the COMPLETE off season chasing after Peyton for the backup position, while ignoring EVERY other problem on the team.
