Pretty good game for those not watching. 14-14 about midway through the 4th.

25 Seconds to go, Sparty driving.

Potential GW FG attempt with 3 seconds left.

Game over. Sparty wins.

tOSU didn't come to play. They got their ***** whipped in every aspect of the game. And as I said earlier in the season, if they continued to start games slowly and without a sense of urgency it would (and did) come back to haunt them. Good game for MSU.

MSU held them to less than 150 yards of offense. Pushed them around on both sides of the ball. If not for gifting them their 2nd TD, this is a 7 point win for MSU. I think Ohio State's biggest problem is that their best QB is playing WR.

Pretty surprising considering MSU was without their primary QB. That was a good game.

I thin their biggest problem is that they have two guys trying to be "Co Offensive Coordinators" ... Too many hands in the pot so to speak. They haven't had an identity on offense all year long. Nothing cohesive.

They were playing their 3rd string QB by the end of the game. They got beat at home by a 3rd string QB. It wasn't that they started slow... they never did anything. They were given a gift TD by MSU on a punt muff. Other than that they didn't do anything.

Wow, did I miss something or did I actually say something very similar to that in post #5. And MSU was playing their 3rd string QB throughout the game. They ran a two QB system with Cook out.

Here, let me quote the relevant part of my statement above:

I'm not surprised at all.. OSU has been flirting with the L column all year long. The offense has shown flashes of that greatness but it hasn't been consistent at all. They were bound to lose one, maybe two after next week

Ohio State has a good defense. That offense though is awful. Not sure why Braxton Miller was never given a shot to win his job back. He is better than both Barrett and Jones. To me, that is their biggest problem by far, inconsistent QB play. They caught lightning in a bottle last year with all the QB injuries they had and it looked like they had depth at QB that could only be imagined. It did not translate to this season. I think with a healthy Miller at QB, this team is a consensus #1.

Buckeyes finally played an opponent with a level of talent comparable to their own and got beat... at home... with the opponents's best player, the quarterback, not playing. All year I've heard that they just haven't been playing to their capabilities. I've been saying all along that maybe they just aren't as good as everyone thought. I think tonight proved me correct.

The play calling on offense was awful. If Meyer doesn't have the confidence in his QB's to run the whole play book, why in the hell are they his QB's? Miller is there, yet he is a sideshow. I am not a OSU fan, but I don't get it. They can run on almost anyone. The limiting factor has been the QB play. Inconsistent at best.

Sorry about the loss, Buckeye...

I was expecting at least one on the year. Not the same atmosphere around the team as last year. The defense has been good to great all year. But, the offense, particularly the play calling has been terrible; as 'Zeke mentioned in his interview. I'm hoping Urban does some housecleaning/rearranging after the season. One or both of his OC's is not fit for the job.

Miller can't throw the ball anymore after the two injuries to his throwing shoulder. Barrett is not confident enough in his throws and Cardale is TOO confident in his throws. What got me is that for most of the year when Cardale was in they tried to run Barrett's offense. Then when Barrett was in, it was like they were calling the plays that they should have been calling for Cardale. Ezekiel Elliot was always an afterthought until there was a lead in the late 3rd or early 4th quarter. It's amazing what that kid was able to do with the way it seemed like they avoided giving him the ball.

They did come to play. They just got beat. They played one ranked team all year and got beat at home by a 13 point underdog playing a 2nd and 3rd string QB. They passed the ball ONCE the entire 2nd half.... ONCE. The OSU defense was hammered all night. Maybe they aren't that good? Maybe they just played a soft schedule and they were overrated?

Tell you what, if that's what makes you feel better ... you are most definitely entitled to your OPINION. I'll even consider it ..because when it comes to overrated teams, an Ole' Miss fan would know.

Gotta love when the Buckeye haters come out after they lose.

*23-game win streak snapped*
"Oooohhhh toldja they sucked, dyooood!!!"

Like I thought a two bit response from a two bit poster. Go back and read the OSU thread at the start of the year. All you guys were jerking each other off about how great they were. Not so much any more right?

But hey, keep clinging to the "Didn't show up" theme. Suits a team that plays a **** schedule and has ******* fans.

What? Been here the entire time. Argued with Tape about OSU schedule. Maybe you are talking about someone else? Sure as hell ain't me.
