Any injury update on Pouncey?

I haven't heard anything lately on his status. Did he have a 2nd surgery or no? Does anyone know what his status is regarding his ability to possibly suit up after our bye week?
 
Doesn't really matter. If he comes back, he'll be re-injured in the first or 2nd game again.
 
He did have the 2nd surgery albeit a few weeks after they mentioned it (don't know what the delay was all about). I'm sure that set back his rehabilitation schedule and the previous target date which as you were saying, soon after the Bye week. No new news since the the 2nd surgery that I've seen.
 
I hope he can come back. Tired of seeing Wallace flagged and pushed five yards into the backfield every week.

Doesn't change the facts that were pointed out to you. It has been debated on here that while Pouncey does get pushed around a lot he has the ability to get to the next level of blockers where only a few centers are able to .....but he still get's pushed around his fair share.
 
If Pouncey comes back, I can't imagine he is in good shape right now.
I'd stick with Wallace for the remainder of the season, just keep letting the OL mesh and don't mess with it.
 
Of course it would be great to get our all pro center back, however, Wallace is handling his business so far as our starting center.
 
Tomlin doesn't play the Pouncey injury update game.

Wallace is doing decent. The team is winning with a plethora of injuries at key positions. The Steelers are pretty much over achieving at this point imo. No Ben, Pouncey, Bell, Martavus was suspended for 4 weeks

Shazier has been on/off injury speaking
Tuitt just came back. Will Allen.
And the team is still finding ways to win. Wallace/Pouncey dilema is the least of my worries
 
there are worse than wallace, and better than pouncy. Currently we have wallace and seem mostly OK. Could pouncy come back in shape and ready, I doubt it, this year anyways.

Wallace is doing decent, but he also just earned the lowest score from PFF by a Steeler player this year. He's a serviceable backup and the Steelers are getting it done with him. Would have been nice to see what this offense could have done at full health all season.

I'm sure EVERY NFL team is saying the exact same thing. Only if......
 
When Pouncey is healthy we have a top 3 offense. When he's not, we're where we are this year...

Not comparing them to the rest of the NFL. The offense made so many strides last year and had a great camp, then you lose two starting offensive linemen, Bell and Bryant to suspension, Bell goes on IR and Ben injured twice. Would have been fun to watch if everyone was in there and clicking.

Still a top 3 offense then?? Sorry but a center is interchangeable. Velasco, and Wallace aren't a good as 53 in many ways but they're good enough.
 
I'm thinking at this point they're going to see where he's at after the bye. He's probably just about ready now but they'll want to give him 2 weeks practice before putting him in a game.
 
Ive about seen enough of "false start, number 72......" ..dude youre the center. THE CENTER. False start ? Seriously Wallace ?

This - I have a feeling, if Pouncey comes back, it'll be Week 14 or so...just in time...
