Before some smart *** says Ben has a foot....

I only saw it said he was out for a "few" weeks. Any kind of "official" news (granted I know its hard to say without further medical review) but do those "few" really refer to the Stains (hopefully with Manzeil) and the bye week or past the Seahawks game? Or is it believed he'll be back before that game?

I've seen 1-2 weeks and I've seen 3-4 weeks. I'd wait for something more official from Tomlin or the Steelers PR team before worrying too much about it. The only thing we know for sure is that Jones is the QB this week.

I saw on ESPN last night and today that he will be out 1-2 weeks. That means he would be back for Seattle.

I want to believe

Big Ben should only miss 1-2 weeks

Citing a team source, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports the Steelers only expect Ben Roethlisberger (foot) to miss "1 to 2 weeks."

Previous reports had Roethlisberger missing "at least" a few weeks. Mort's report indicates Roethlisberger should only miss Week 10 against the Browns, then sit out during Pittsburgh's Week 11 bye, and return in Week 12 against the Seahawks

He was cleared with Xrays but will still need to confirm with a MRI

so it looks like 2 weeks but will still need MRI confirmation that it is just a mild midfoot sprain..

he had the MRI yesterday

We all want immediate information, but these tests take time. Initially, they were saying Leveon Bell's injury was not that bad, and he'd be back later this season, by the next day, he was being placed on IR. hoping that's not the case with Ben.
