Second half our ofeense is in rhythm and rolling, the Bengal defense appears to be on their heels, and Heath is called short. We wait wait wait.and decide to call a challenge of the spot. We "win" the challenge after a second look....then the clock rolls and the quarter ends......then more commercial time. I didnt record and look back, but I am willing to bet that 12 minutes of time went by between our plays. The momentum was gone, and the drive went down the crapper.

I called it at the time, and it played out as I feared.

regardless it wasn't the biggest time management gaffe.

When the game was in crunchtime the 2 minute warning no call handcuffed the team to the point the O ran out of time.....

but yeah his time management

well sucks

I hear ya man..

But you got to challenge that spot...and not much you can do about a quarter ending...

Tough loss....might be too much to come back from this one..

Some of us were talking about this at the bar. Ridiculous.

It was similar to when Bryant made that catch that they initially ruled incomplete. Refs spent like 5 minutes trying to out-think themselves. Even a Bengals fan thought it was bullshit.

There were at least 3 times that Bengals came up short of the first down and the officials still granted them a first down without hesitation, not even a measurement.
The officiating was atrocious for a large portion of the game.

Yep.. what you said, also killing our drives with several holding calls, picking up the PI on Martavis in the end zone, ... For a good two quarters there it felt like they were trying their best to keep us out of the game

This.

Me and my buddy were livid, screaming maniacs. They stall us out on obvious wins but award them 1sts with no stoppage whatsoever...******* mobbed up officials. That side judge on the Steelers side is either mobbed up or a ******* imbecile.

I have no idea what PI is any more. They picked up the flag because the DB's contact did not prohibit his route or some bullshit like that.
