Cheats/ Fins

You can't play 10 miles off the ball either. You smash those little **** wr's at the line.Until we get back to playing like mean mother ******* cheating asshats like the pat****s will continue to prevail. They're not that magical even if they do know everyone plays and god knows what other clandestine intel gathering bs they have going on. We still have to find a way back to making teams NOT want to play our defense.

I remember that game against the cheats in 2011 when the defense played up bumping the receivers. That was also the same game Woodley pulled his hammy whooping Brady's ***. But yes, the Steelers were bumping receivers that game

I would love for that to be the case once again, but that isn't ever going to happen. The nfl is continueing to soften the "D" to an extent that it will be nearly impossible to flaten somebody. Sooner or later, it will be illeagal contact beyond the 3yrd line of scrimage. If t*mmy b*y does play well into his 40's, then possibly flag football for QBs.

Salute the nation

What the Pats**** offense does best is what DLB's defense defends worst, screens and the short pass. Plus TommyBoy is usually teamed up with a good OL and an earpiece that is always on.

It's exactly what Butler's bend but don't break defense is built on. They playoff off the ball as to not get beat deep. They don't jam the WR and they play off 10 yards or more.

Thing is, Brady and Belicheat don't try to beat you deep for the most part. They use high-percentage short and middle range passes and strive for YAC, essentially using the passing game as a running game. In DLB's defense the line ties up blockers and uses the linebackers to rush, meantime the safteys are back and playing ten yards off anyway, which leaves the first 10-15 yards from the line of scrimmage wide open and Brady dinks and dunks his way down the field on us all ******* day long. If I'm gameplanning against him I really don't waste the bodies putting pressure on him because they always have a good OL anyway and instead keep the LB's back in pass coverage.

But I'm not a HOF defensive coordinator, so what do I know?

No I think your right on. That's why Alex Smith had success against us.

A QB who is patient, accurate, & willing to just move the chains.

I had a feeling Smith would dink & dunk us to death. He never goes deep. Plus he is accurate.

Bottom line is we have sub par linebacker play. That's why they keep getting gouged with the run too.

They used to be a phenomenal tackling team but now they are not.

Even now they will have a running back in the backfield and he will squirt out for 3 4 yards.

Keeping teams in 3rd and long makes it a little easier. Then pressure from the outside lb'rs.

Teams play run by the pass and wait for the defense to make a mistake or a missed tackle, and they get you.

We were spoiled with Farrior he was a solid solid inside LB. Wasn't the best in coverage but was a stud against the run.

Now it seems like there is a gapping hole where he used to play. That's where everyone is running on us.

Patriots & kc those type of offenses our are worst enemy. They destroy us.

That's what type of offense I thought we were going to run but not sure if Ben has the patience or Haley to take 3 4 yards at a time.

Every team struggles with the pats*** offense. It doesn't matter what they run. The pats***** will go deep if you come up. They'll run it 50 times if you drop everyone back. They adapt to whatever the defense is doing. The only way to beat them is to have a DL that can push the pocket and get quick press up front. Then have a secondary that is disciplined enough not to get picked. With Gronk they are almost unstoppable because nobody can handle him one on one. Have they even lost since Gronk has been back?
