Like many here, you seem to write Haley off at a wimm. Ben doesn't call all his own plays. The OC all week works on a game plan, Ben is included in that game plan. If Ben audibles, he audibles something seen, most times, within that game plan. There is a hell of a lot more work to an OC, than just calling plays. I get what you are saying and realize you know this, but many here seem to think this is a whim job, it's not.

The thing that I am liking now is that we are scoring TD's more often in the redzone. One sure way to keep Haley is to go deep into the playoffs... the Fins will not wait that long.

Actually I think Haley is the best OC we've had since Whiz and I don't want to see him leave, potential pics of Mrs. Haley on Miami Beach notwithstanding.

Haley was already the head coach of one team with ****** up ownership (that happened to beat us today) that changes head coaches a lot and I doubt that he wants to go to another one like Miami.

I can help with this one. The owner of the Dolphins is Steven Ross. He hired Carl Peterson ( KC Chiefs ) as an advisor who does have a relationship with Haley. However, the Dolphins new coach Dan Campbell has transformed the culture in a short amount of time, and the Dolphins are playing this best football since....well for at least 4 years. Amazing what a good coach can do.

If Campbell keeps this up, or at the very least keeps the Dolphins competitive in defeat vs the better teams, he's got the job.

Todd Haley isn't very good. We saw that when Ben was out.
 
He was a complete fail as a HC. He couldn't get along with his players, and in today's NFL it's all about the players and their feelings.
 
Dolphins current OC Bill Lazor would be a good hire if he was let go. He's an Ivy league guy so he's smart. He has coached in lots of different systems in college and the NFL. He has been an assistant under Joe Gibbs, Holmgren, and Chip Kelly.

The Dolphins offensive problems are mostly with Tanneyhill. It seems Philbin really babied him. The design of the offense is good and is good at getting guys in space. Lazor would be a great fit with the Steeler personnel. He went to the same HS as Munchak too so they'd probably work pretty well together,
 
Get rid of Haley and let Ben call the shots. Or have faith in the QB currently under center. Which is hard to do with the teams options

I'd be more interested in Scotty Montgomery the OC at Duke. Coached the WR's under Arians and has been at Duke under Cuttlif who is acknowledged as a real offensive mind. But I think Haley has matured into a very solid coach and hope he stays. "Coach" doesn't think he's very good which is another strong Haley endorsement.
 
they'd have to be extra stupid to get rid of the guy that's forced life into their pitiful season.
in other words they'll have to find someone to replace campbell with

It's always a concern with guys like that where the HC is so good. Is it Cutcliff doing all the work and Montgomery is just a play caller?

The way things are going, Steelers might be able to get Bill O'Brien although i can't see them giving up on him so soon, especially when he doesn't have a QB.

Re Haley: He needs to mix in some salads. Chrissy can't be liking that.

Pfffft! Dressing up as Haley is easy. What is tough is dressing up like somebody else and convincing your wife to be Chrissy Haley and getting her to send nudies to you.
