Early Games

Wish we could hit 51 yard field goals...
 
The Cowboys have a legit defense, but no offense at all. It will be intereresting to see if they can keep treading water until Romo returns. They'll be dangerous, if they can.
 
I'm not looking forward to next week's game against the Cardinals.

Without Ben, that one has "ruthless *** beating" written all over it,

It's a bad matchup in just about every conceivable way for the Steelers, and I suspect The Bruce is going to carry a little extra incentive going into it,.
 
Could these late games be any more boring? I should have taped them and sold them to insomniacs.
 
Yeah this Denver game is brutal. Almost as brutal as the Royals game. Ugh.
 
I hate that the NFL schedules so few 4 pm games. It's a scam. They just want to artificially create a high ratings game. They do it by making sure nearly the entire country gets the same game and they do that by scheduling only 3 or so games at 4.

These west coast teams should refuse to play 1 pm games.

It sucks because I watch the Steelers at 1 most weeks. Then at 4 when I can get my money's worth out of the NFL package, there's **** on. Meanwhile, the pack too many games at 1 so you can barely keep track of them all.
 
Forced to root for the Cowboys. I feel so dirty.

A few years ago you would be right. CBS had AFC and Fox the NFC. Interconference games were on the road teams network, that way each network got to all stadiums/markets. It changed a few years ago. I forgot why, but I think it had to do with the NBC SNF flex scheduling. I could be wrong.

Most Steelers fans don't like when they play at 4, I love it, especially when it's a beautiful fall day like today.

It's because they added Thursday, and Sunday night games. Those would have been 4pm games on Sunday in the recent past. Combine that with bye weeks, and there aren't that many games overall.

Game manager type who can make the occasional big play. These types of qbs (like Andy Dalton), need a good receiving corps to make plays for them. Seattle's receivers are as pedestrian as you will find on a good team.

i get that but the split is still extreme. Today there were 8 games at 1 and 3 at 4. It will be the same next week too. Next week Arizona @ Pitt is 1 PM. There's no reason for that.

Once the byes start, there's usually 11 Sunday day games. There will always be more 1 PM games because there are more east teams. The split should be more like 6 and 5 or 7 and 4.
 
I'm just sickened by the fact Cleveland put it to the Ravens in Baltimore, but we lay down to them at home on prime time. Some one convince me it was a lack of Ben and NOT inferior coaching. Please! I want to believe our staff is capable of winning tomorrow.
 
i'm going to have to start rooting for the Ravens soon. I don't want them to lose enough games that they get a top draft pick.
 
Sucks that the Cheaters won again but it was fun watching Dallas put a beating on Marsha. They were hitting him with 3 and 4 man rushes. We and other teams need to figure out how to do that. Marsha was rattled big time in the first half and only scored 6 points.

It was a lack of Ben......and inferior coaching. Sorry! However, they should still beat the Bolts. And in they can't, well, then they've got bigger issues.
