Hillary Clinton exit strategy by April 2016?

If Bernie or Trump were elected they'd sit in the White House twiddling their thumbs since none of their ideas would pass either house of
Congress.

I think when Trump says it, he's going to do it. The guy has a can do attitude and an ego to match.

Congress? Bomma don't need no stinkin' Congress. Why does Trump?

A stagnant stalemated government is actually a good thing. Every law passed, act of congress enacted and tax levied is less freedom for us.

How can you hate Bernie? He so straight. No games. You can disagree with him and love him all the same.

I hate sanders because he is a socialist and socialism is evil.

Socialism feeds the base human instinct to be lazy. It punishes achievement and hard work. Socialism encourages people to do the bare minimum and sponge off of the rest of society rather than trying to improve their situation via their own efforts. Socialism destroys the drive to pursue excellence by collectivizing the rewards garnered by individual effort and risk.

I hope that clears it up for you.

Except for Germany, European countries' unemployment rate has rarely been below 10% since the end of WW2. Over half of Sweden's 50 largest companies were founded before WW 1 and only 2 after 1970.

Sweden: A "Welfare Paradise" Offers Lessons For Europe
Maria Rankka: I urge Europe to look beyond Sweden’s mythic welfare state and learn from the country’s history of free trade and free enterprise. Protectionism and social safety nets will not forestall the wave of competition from globalization.

Confronted with the grim necessity of European economic reform, many economists trot out Sweden as proof that counter to conventional wisdom, big government and economic growth can peacefully coexist. The Swedish economy has often been compared to a bumblebee, whose ability to fly can only be explained by its ignorance of aerodynamics and physics.

Proponents of the Swedish model cheer the flight of the bumblebee, whooping: It can fly! It can fly!

Yet Sweden and other European countries, with their rigid labor markets and bloated public sectors, have created social and economic exclusion. Failure to expand economic freedom in these countries will impede their ability to grow and develop on par with global peers. More than half of Sweden’s 50 largest companies were founded before World War I; only two were founded after 1970.

In true bumblebee fashion, Sweden is rich despite the welfare state. In the late 19th century, successive liberal governments introduced free establishment in different trades, abolished guilds and stripped the upper classes of economic privileges that had bled the economy dry. It was during this time that free trade was a badge of honor, and immigration and emigration was free for all. This era saw the birth of our most prosperous companies: SKF, Electrolux and Assa (later Assa Abloy). Sweden has a proud tradition of free market institutions, and it is market reforms, both in the late 19th century and in the mid-1990s, that explain our economic development.

When the Swedish social democrats were ousted last year after twelve years in power, observers who had touted Sweden as a welfare paradise on earth were inconsolable. Guardian columnist Polly Toynbee, who once lauded Sweden the best country in the world, wrote two days after the election:

“How can a good government lose power when the country is flourishing? With a rising growth rate of 5.6%, low interest rates, thriving manufacturing and exports…Sweden’s welfare system is the envy of the world.”

Perhaps, but that doesn’t mean it works properly. The Swedish system’s welfare weaknesses have become even more apparent in the wake of globalization and more intense international competition. Of five million working-age adults, one million remain outside the workforce, even though few are officially unemployed. In 1970 Sweden was the world’s 4th richest country; today we are number 14.

Europe is a both wealthy and a civilized part of the world. We have contributed historically with great inventions and institutions. Europe was also the first part of the world to become prosperous. But that doesn’t mean the future is footloose and fancy-free. Now competition, the number one wealth creator, is under attack. The fact that the EU is spending $110 billion per annum on farming subsidies and only $9.3 billion on development aid, when abolished subsidies would be better for starving nations, is beyond stupidity.

If Europe is to remain the focal point of western prosperity, it must accept what most Swedish governments for more than a century have held for true: that free trade is the source of wealth for consumers and business, and that it is the vent of fresh air that the oxygen-starved countries in the developing world require.

There are certainly lessons that Europe can learn from Sweden. But expanding government and limiting competition should not be among them.

Maria Rankka is President of Timbro, a Swedish free market think tank. She has written books concerning the emerging European tigers Estonia and Ireland, and the social dimensions and impacts of high taxation on individuals. Prior to Timbro Maria was a partner in a fast-growing public relations firm and before that she worked for the Moderate party, which is now in government.

Now, you're nit picking.

I think the e-mail thing is starting to blow over.

Congress can pontificate on the issue for another couple of months I guess, but without an actual indictment or criminal charges (the FBI is now going on 2 months since their official investigation started), this is started to get old to the American people.

I know some of you will despise this but I think she survived another scandal.

Obviously, if it becomes a 3-man race and Biden joins the fray it will really tighten up the democratic electorate. Biden might actually win, but right now as it stands, Hillary vs. Sanders, I think Hillary has it in the bag now.

I dunno, Bernie is polling higher in most places.

Bernie will look great all the way up until Super Tuesday, when he is crushed by Clinton and relegated to the dust bin of history.

she just let the cat out of the bag

Clinton suggests she'd consider mandatory gun buy-backs

Hillary Clinton said Friday that mandatory gun buy-back programs like ones in Australia are “worth looking into,” sparking criticism that the Democratic presidential front-runner would, if elected, impose gun-confiscation efforts.

Clinton made the comments during a campaign stop in Keene, N.H., when an attendee asked about Australia’s 1996 and 2003 buy-back programs that collected roughly 700,000 banned semi-automatic rifles and other firearms.

“I think it would be worth considering doing it on the national level, if that could be arranged,” Clinton responded.

“This validates what the NRA has said all along,” said Chris Cox, executive director of the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action. “The real goal of gun control supporters is gun confiscation.”

Cox said Clinton’s comments echo recent ones by President Obama, making “very clear” that the underlying goal of gun-control advocates is confiscation

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015...?intcmp=hplnws

--------------------------

The Australian and U.K. “buybacks” were merely an attempt to mollify firearm owners whose property had been declared contraband and subject to seizure.

If you own a gun now, take heed. President Obama and now Hillary Clinton finally made clear what they’re really after – national gun confiscation.

Gun owners in Australia were forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results:

Australia-wide, homicides went up 3.2 percent
Australia-wide, assaults went up 8.6 percent
Australia-wide, armed robberies went up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)

In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns.

That dyke **** will have to pry my gun from my cold dead fingers. And chances are I would've hobbled her by shooting her in her giant dyke kankles first.

The FBI Is pissed at Obama for his interview on 60 Minutes where he almost dismissed the investigation into Hitlery. The FBI is looking into gross negligence charges against the Hildebeast which brings 10 years in prison.

Everything you need to know about the Benghazi hearings, in one excellent Vine. (make sure to turn sound on). Man, the GOP yet again made complete ***** of themselves. No surprises there.

Hillary vs.Trump should be a hoot.

Can't wait

So that lying ***** sent an email to fug Chelsea the day of the attack stating that it was a terrorist sect of Al Qaida. But Obama was out campaigning and saying he destroyed Al Qaida, so she blamed an Internet video. ******* criminals.

Also it didn't fit the narrative that Bomma had gotten rid of Ghaddafi and Libya was a peaceable place. We send in more Marines and helicopters then it looks like a war. Better to let the embassy staff die and the ambassador get beaten to death and ****** up the *** after he's dead and hope the public believes the story you put out.

BTW, the guy who made the video that none of the Libyans saw spent a year in jail since he was an enemy of the state.

That dyke ****...
The biggest **** in the room - by a large margin - was this ****.

Perfect example of the right-wing gone wrong in America.

Spot on.

I went over to that hag Roby's FB page, figured a bunch of redneck supporters would be rallying around her dumb ***...

-- Dear Rep. Roby, After a 10 hour workday, I came home to see that the Benghazi hearing was still going on. I am curious about your questioning of Secretary Clinton in regard to her "concern" for the welfare of the embassy staff. Why was this questioning relevant? Would you have asked the same question of a man? Until this hearing, I was not a supporter of Secretary Clinton as a candidate for president in 2016, but after more than nine hours of this frivolous questioning, I am convinced that Secretary Clinton has the ability and fortitude to represent this nation as president. I am sure that the DNC is grateful to you and your republican colleagues!

-- Representative: you are a DISGUSTING American and are not fit to hold public office.

-- This committee shows what idiots you are , you are liars and an embarrassment to this nation . . The world was laughing along with Hillary .at you

-- I am a Republican but thought this questioning was disgraceful.

-- You are an embarrassment.

-- Wow she's dumb.

-- I was gonna come on and call you a stupid **** but I see that that wouldn't even be a blip on your shitstorm radar. You may be your own worst enemy.

-- Roby should resign. What a tragedy that the voters of Alabama would put such an ignorant person in office. They should be ashamed.

-- How do people like you get elected? Is their a population shortage in Alabama?

-- You are disgracefully wasting our tax dollars. Please stop displaying your ignorance
.
LOL, sorry got to stop, there are too many to choose from.

Believe me, liberals - along with everyone except the furthest-to-the-right wackadoos - are having a good day today. Hillary Clinton is having a field day. As with all recent GOP moves, this too is a self-inflicted wound, brought upon themselves.

The Benghazi Hearing in 30 Seconds
http://www.motherjones.com/kevin-drum/2015/10/benghazi-hearing-30-seconds

Josh Marshall comments:

The lines of questions are disjointed and they're pressing points she either freely concedes (yes, it was terrible and she's ultimately responsible) or the point of which isn't even clear (why did Sid Blumenthal send you so many emails?). It's not going well for the committee at all. And what's most revealing about the testimony so far is that they definitely get that: they know it's going badly for them. And that's led to a rather churlish and defensive tone to the whole proceeding that's further deflated any sense that this is more than a clown show where the clowns are struggling.

....Republican committee members just seemed pissed because this was supposed to be awesome — after all, a committee designed to bring down Hillary and circulate all those numskull conspiracy theories about Chris Stevens wearing a chest cam and how President Obama was watching everything happening live on his iPhone. Hillary's yet to get at all flustered and has even had the opportunity to gently explain to Republican members how the State Department works. She looks poised; they're radiating spittle.

Hillary Clinton admits she broke U.S. Law in Benghazi

Hillary Clinton admitted to the House Select Committee on Benghazi on Thursday evening that she broke the law in handling security for the U.S. consulate there.

Under patient but persistent questioning from Rep. Susan Brooks (R-IN)33%, Clinton admitted that she had not signed a waiver for security arrangements on the site, as required by the Secure Embassy Construction and Counterterrorism Act of 1999

Clinton admitted failing to comply with the law in the following exchange:

Brooks: But I have to ask you, if you’re familiar with the facts that in the wake of the 1998 bombing attacks in Nairobi and Dar-es-Salaam, Congress passed something referred to as the SECCA, the Secure Embassy Construction and Counterterrorism Act, which requires the Secretary of State to issue a waiver under two conditions: if the U.S. government personnel work in separate facilities, or if U.S. oversees facilities do not meet the security setback distances specified by the Bureau of Diplomatic Security. The law specifies that only the Secretary of State may sign these waivers, and that requirement is not to be delegated. Was a waiver issued for the temporary mission in Benghazi and the CIA annex, after the temporary mission compound was authorized through december of 2012? And did you sign that waiver, Madam Secretary?

Clinton: I think that the, the CIA annex I had no responsibility for. So I cannot speak to what the decisions were with respect to the CIA annex. That is something i know other committees have–

Brooks: But you acknowledge you were responsible for the temporary mission compound.

Clinton: Yes, of course. But you put them together. I just wanted to clarify that I had no responsibility for the CIA annex, obviously. The compound in Benghazi was neither an embassy nor a consulate. Those are the only two facilities for which we would obtain a formal diplomatic notification.

Brooks: Madam Secretary, thank you. So it is obvious that a waiver was not signed, and you’ve given a defense as to why a waiver was not signed, and it was temporary because it was made up. It was something different. The compound had never become official. And so, therefore, you did not sign a waiver. Which, when most of our people are stationed in such dangerous places–let me get into that, with respect to the dangerous places–we know that Libya , you’ve testified before, was incapable of providing host nation support. And that involves protecting our diplomats and other U.S. government officials who travel there. So if the Libyan people didn’t have a government capable of providing security, and we didn’t have U.S. military in Libya, then we have two options: we either leave when it gets too dangerous, or the State Department makes sure that they provide that protection.
