RD1- Kendall Fuller CB VT
We don't have a true #1 CB and Fuller definitely has the ability and pedigree to be that.

RD2- Tyler Johnstone OT Oregon
Johnstone is big and quick and comes from a zone blocking scheme. Beachum has struggled and still not signed a long term deal. Even if we get a long term deal completed I feel Johnstone could be our LT while Beachum transitions to LG and solidifying two positions.

RD3- Jalen Mills S LSU
I think Shamarko is on borrowed time and we can't count on 34 going to be 35 year old Will Allen for very long.

RD4- Christian Westerman OG/OC Arizona St
I know two offensive linemen when our line is pretty solid? Well, Beachum Free agent, Ramon Foster Free agent, 2017 David DeCastro Free Agent. So 3/5 of our line is free agents after this and next season.

RD7- Antwaun Woods DT USC
McCullers took a step backwards and McLendon is a FA. I don't feel there will be a big market for McLendon so getting him back relatively cheap should not be a problem but Woods I feel has upside enough to be that center piece in a young aggressive D-line to hold the point and be stout versus the run.

Way too early but I'll bite. I'm going for need and really have not studied most of the players.

1 ) NT Robison. Kid is a house, and makes plays. McClendon is a free agent and he's average,

2 ) RT Conklin. Beachum will likely walk. Adams is a free agent soon.

3 ) FS Andrews. A play maker type vs the pass and active vs the run

Same needs as last year, DB and pass rushers. Only difference is DB is top priority and pass rush is second.

I like what I see in Dupree so far and Jarvis has shown a pulse. If Dupree develops into a stud then Jarvis might be able to be serviceable as his wing man, although that would still make OLB a need because Jarvis's contract will come up soon and they need a replacement.

It's still early but this looks like a situation Where the Steelers are in position to trade up to get the right DB. They have found depth guys. They need a star.

The trouble is the star players at CB and pass rushers are often found in the top 12 of a draft. We are drafting 14th at the earliest.

Not necessarily thinking we need CB as bad as we did last year, but our needs will be FS, OG, OLB (depth), CB (depth unless a blue-chipper is available).
I think Beachum gets resigned.
With our real need FS not flashing in the 1st round, I go BPA as it aligns with our needs. OG is just not a high enough need with how well the OL is built. They won't take another OLB in the 1st IMO.

1-Kendall Fuller CB -> teams with Cockrell, Golson and Grant to form new CB crop.
2-Darian Thompson FS -> the centerfielder we need.
3-Greg Pyke OG -> Ramon will be gone...need a new LG.
4-Kris Frost OLB -> still need depth at OLB...honestly, we need a real ROLB.

WOW. This whole thread is surreal. Talking draft during week 5. Nevertheless, if Ben doesn't come back soon, drafting 14 will be a real possibility.

1. Marshall Morgan, K, Georgia
2. Ross Martin, K, Duke
3. Jaden Oberkrom, K, TCU
4. Ka'imi Fairbairn, K, UCLA
7. Austin Lopez, K, San Jose State

Karma-worthy post. Hard to hit the karma button when you can't breathe though. Holy crap that was funny.

Actually, I'm surprised it took four games for someone to post it. I don't think this is a record though for the earliest mock draft post.

1 Su'a Cravens

Heard Corn Elder CB from the U is getting some serious run as a top DB as well.
Also hearing that Jayron Kearse FS from Clemson is being projected as a 1st/2nd rounder.
I watch Clemson regularly. The guy is always around the ball and has really nice ball skills.
Additionally, he is pretty big at 6'4", 205. Might be a bit to tall as a FS in the NFL but we will see.
Also, keep an eye on MacKenise Alexander CB from Clemson. Seems to be a lockdown guy that teams
shy away from throwing near. Could be a viable option for us with him coming in at 5'11".

6'4 ??? How in hell would he fit in with all the other Pitt DBs? I'm sure they only make one size of uniform for players with numbers in the 40s.
Probably that's why Cortez isn't getting playing time. Injures himself trying to put his jersey on.

not to mention the Steelers need more of SS than a FS.... with that height I question his range /speed to the ball........
